Just wondering how do I see a list of all referrals instead of just referrals for the last week or so? Thanks, Kelara

Go to your Affiliate Program area, at the top you'll see My Referrals, click that - you can see your free referrals and your premium referrals for all time

Yes I agree, but it only shows referrals for the last week or two. I am unable to see referrals from last month or the month before that. I would like to see all referrals since joining the affiliate program. Is this possible?

Mine shows everything, as I scroll the page keeps loading and loading

Okay thanks. I will contact technical for help. I'm not seeing that at all.

Yeah could be a browser issue, give it a try in a different browser and see if things work.

You were correct. I can see them in Firefox but not Chrome. Not sure why that is but thanks a bunch. Regards, Kelara

No worries, glad you got it sorted

Thanks Leo. Having the same problem but only have Chrome loaded. Will try contacting site support.

For some people, making money online seems very daunting. They feel it's an untouchable world set aside for computer geeks and that you need to be an Information Technology pro

Nice post Kelara :)

Thanks Lunaria :)

No problem :)

Hi Kelara. Very well said. I agree. I particularly like your words about breaking things down. Looking at the entire picture just causes stress for me. Small, reasonable sized tasks are what get me through. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Your welcome electrobot. :)

Hello, if a page is set as private but I want to provide the link to someone to view the page, will they have a problem seeing it? Thanks in advance.

Kelara

Hello Kelara,

private pages are only visible to the user who created it and site users who have the editor or administrator roles.

1. If you want to have a page set aside for a particular person (not a registered user on your site), then try a password protected page instead. Give the person the link, the password, and only they can unlock the content.

2. If the person is a site user, and you want to share a private page with only them (like a client page), then checkout these plugins and see which one works best for you:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-specific-content/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/s8-private-pages/

amathews thanks for the info. What about setting up the page where people need to login with their email address to view the page? This would also give me a log of those who have viewed the content.

That depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

Give me some more details, and I can probably give you a better answer. Is this a membership site, site for client access, do you just want a blog with protected pages, are you trying to get users to subscribe so you can build an email list, etc?

Basically, I would like a login process for users to view a private video on my domain. I would like them to login using their Name and Email Address. I would also like an admin log so that I can keep up with the user's date and time of viewing the video.

Ok, you want the visitors to subscribe (enter name and email) before accessing certain content. I have to warn you, this may not be something you want to tackle so soon. It will get involved. If you're up for it, don't let me discourage you though.

The base functions in WordPress don't include a way to do this out of the box. I'll give you a couple of options.

1. These premium plugins provide the ability to lock down certain content until a visitor subscribes. They also provide visitor stats:

http://codecanyon.net/item/optin-content-locker-for-wordpress/2809912

http://codecanyon.net/item/subscriber-content-lock-for-wordpress/3654863

You'll only need one, from reading the features, I believe the first one provides everything you want. Still read the features list carefully and confirm that. If you are unsure about any of the features, post a question to the plugin author for clarification.

If you decide to go this route, verify with WA support that none of the plugin features will be blocked before you make a purchase; certain external connections are not allowed on WA servers, so just make sure that you won't have any issues: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

2. You can get an autoresponder service like MailChimp:

http://mailchimp.com/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/

Place a subscribe form on your site, and after users subscribe just redirect them to your video page. If you plan on providing more subscriber-only videos in the future, you can create a page that has all the videos, or a portal page that has links to other pages, however you decide to do it.

I hope that I answered your question. Please let me know if I misunderstood what you want.

Thanks a lot for you help. I will probably try the autoreponder service since it looks easier and less painful. :) Thanks again.

You're welcome.
