Self Imposed Wealthy Affiliate E-mail Fast

I have joined Wealthy Affiliate last October of 2015 with such great joy and happiness because I have found an incredible treasure chest of knowledge with the best training available on the internet!

After being scammed and disappointed by many failed attempts at creating success online, I found this incredible website almost by accident.

I was researching scams and was looking at another opportunity but wanted to make doubly sure!

That is how I found Wealthy Affiliate!

The first few days exploring the site brought such happiness because there were real people answering all the questions I had, literally before I even asked them on the comment sections and questions asked area!

The founders Kyle and Carson were contacting me and I felt such welcome and heartfelt outflow of warmth from everyone in the community.

I signed up for Premium, and then by Thanksgiving I hit the Black Friday special and went for a year with such an incredible discount!

I knew I made the right decision and began my journey of learning the basics to build a grasp on what has eluded me for the last decade, the ability to create an online business without the high pressure of upsells, and promises of instant riches.

I couldn't believe the in-depth training and knowledge base that exists at WA! I jumped in right away without fully understanding the niche methodology, but I knew the bottom line was to make money!!

I decided to follow a niche that would make me money, which of course is not what we are trained to do at WA...

FIND A NICHE THAT YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT!

The money will flow when you are giving of yourself to be an authority on something that will help people.

I am half Polynesian and half European, which the European part is Jewish. So you see my combination is a hard head (coconut hardness!) with the desire to make money!!

So after going through the "Get Started Here" course and making it up to Course 3 Lesson 5 with my first site, I fizzled out, because I wasn't passionate about my niche, and it became a tedious task instead of a joyful endeavor.

I then decided at the urging of my Mentor to go into the Affiliate Bootcamp and have made it up to Course 2 Lesson 2 so far.

Why the Wealthy Affiliate E-mail Fast?

That sounds strange... but let me explain what I mean:

My present job consumes my daily hours and I have just about less than an hour to jump on the internet during the week due to my Salaryman job in Japan.

As some of you know that it is time-consuming with a horrendous commute time of over 3 hours total daily! I work over 10-12 hours a day then travel over a total of 3 hours a day...well you get the picture!

Japan is the only culture where they have a word for death by work "Karoshi", which actually occurs to Salarymen here!

As I mentioned earlier that Wealthy Affiliate is a treasure chest of knowledge and incredible tutorials and lessons!

The people in this community have such incredible knowledge and are so eager to share with everyone! I have over a hundred bookmarks for the a lot of these great and helpful training posted.

But, the problem I encountered was that I would spend my whole hour or more just going through emails every night!! I couldn't stop because it was so amazing!!! I kept on thinking "if I don't check every email that I will miss something!!"

I was right I did miss something! It was the time to work on my website!

I was so caught up in my emails from WA that I completely lost focus on my creation, and learning to develop my website.

I had been so mesmerized with the training from the emails that I would just jump at the chance to try this plug-in or do this adjustment or practically anything that was recommended by the incredible mentors of WA.

But to my dismay, I was doing more damage to my website then helping because I wasn't learning the proper steps first!

I even started getting confused and eventually would delete everything.

I was trying to walk before I could crawl...

Thus, the impetus for my self-imposed fast from all emails from WA!

I did read on a post of someone else having the same problem of not having enough time due to answering all the emails and keeping up with the community!

I also know there is a new scoring system implemented lately with likes and incredible rewards, but my main concern is to learn the lessons and do it well, step by step by step.

I am learning slowly and hope that all of my colleagues and incredible mentors will forgive me for this email fast, which will last for a season until I get my Affiliate Bootcamp Training completed.

I will not let my Dream fade, it has to glow brightly in my mind each day, by focusing on becoming successful like Kyle, Carson, and all the other top people of WA!!

Time is Precious and I must use it efficiently as I know all of the successful people that have reached their goals can attest to that fact.

I did read an amazing post by Colton who shared that he had a $10,000 month! What really stuck out in that post were two things he mentioned:

1. Do all of the training and follow the steps that Kyle has laid out in each Course and lesson.

2. Content Creation is greater than Content Consumption!

Both of these steps have resonated in my mind, and they both are so true to succeed for a newbie like me.

I will focus on my lessons and create my Dream one lesson at a time. A little bit each day will add up to a big amount over a period of time.

I thank each one of you at WA for being the best at what you do and giving of yourselves so unselfishly!

I too will be like you one day soon!
