One month in WA-my story
Hi folks. I joined WA just a month ago. It seems like so much more than that, because I've learned so much. I never thought about building an online business before, don't understand much of the back office jargon, and had never heard of affiliate marketing until one night stumbled upon a "free" training program to make money on the internet.
The guy leading the training gave me the creeps and after spending several days wading through his system, that creepy feeling got the better of me and I started looking for validation one way or another about the program he was promoting. Long story short, I dropped that program and joined Wealthy Affiliate. No creepy feeling here. Nothing but support, encouragement and I don't feel like anyone is trying scalp me.
I just finished the second level of Getting Started training and probably have more questions than when I started, but at least I have an idea of where I'm going. I have 2 websites up and running with some good content and a couple blog posts. I still have NO IDEA what to do with SEO or affiliate links or any of that, but i have confidence that the training will show me what to do. There is still a LOT of work I need to do to flesh out my websites, but I'm not anxious about it because it's all a work in progress...it will come in time. I'm just trying to follow the process and do what I'm told on the naive belief that that will default to success. I know enough to just not quit.
My challenges will be going forward, due to the niches I'm in, I think I need to do some hard work on local marketing, but I'm up for it and optimistic. I covet the continued support and training from all of you. Without you, I could never make this happen. I have to admit that I have completely become adicted to you in the last month. So I'll be around for awhile.
Thank you, everyone, from the bottom of my heart.
PS...if anyone wants to check out my websites, offer feedback, or comments, one is promoting my white elephant old historic home in rural Vermont as a vacation rental: bennetts1815.com and the other is promoting development of rainwater harvesting for homeowners and small community use at CommunityTap.org

The second month is alot like the first. A lot of questions are answered, and new ones present themselves. It's a process, but the journey, though difficult at times is also fun and rewarding. Wouldn't have it any other way. Look forward to your 2nd month's end report :-)
it's good for you to post one month in. I wish I had done that, way back when. I just posted 2 new posts today you might want to look at. Hope the help
