"Grateful, grateful, grateful, grateful ..."
I met an older gentleman...upbeat, funny, and very wise. He spoke about life and taking my time; not to rush things (work, family, decisions...) . As he spoke, I happened to have seen a "nob-like " thing on the side of his head by his ear. Inquisitively, I asked him what that was. He was shot in the head! Yes! That's what I said . He was in a coma for quite some time, and said that he was on a mission...
A mission to enjoy the small things; the things we look over ( my sister who lives in another state calling me to say hi)...
I am grateful that here is a community where people are truly influenced to do their best and have a cheering squad behind them...reminds me of my students (that's for another blog)!

:)... Yeah , especially having the chance to talk to family and not think about it, then something like that happens...

Love this! We all must live in a gratitude-mode. It's the healthiest way.
