The Magic Business Card
In this day and age, business cards might seem primitive. Having said that, I have generated more promising leads and premium members by passing out custom card stock than I have organic clicks. The obvious explanation is that I haven't mastered SEO, Google Ads and my site is still fairly new. But there is no substitute for speaking passionately about a subject to someone in person.
Why Business Cards?
I have multiple business cards because I am involved with multiple businesses and ventures. I would of never thought to make one for my affiliate website. That is until MOO.com sent me a promo for a "Free 50 Business Cards". Why not throw my logo, tagline and website on one?
I began WA in March to fulfill my New Year's resolution of trading wasted time for productive time. I set out to find the difference a year would make when I cut back on hours of TV, social media, YouTube, senseless phoning and straight up laziness. The goal is to stop all dicking around and use that extra time to do something positive. Whether that be to learn an instrument, assist other people, get more exercise, take up a new sport, create a side hustle, online business, etc. All that extra time in a day adds up!
Card Conversion
I went through the 50 cards in two weeks. More cards are on the way as I'm writing this. I have found that the genuine relationships I have created outside the online world are far more promising than paid clicks. When people ask what I do, I generally give a short explanation and finish by handing them a Motivation Niche business card sidestepping all other business that I'm a part of because those cannot help them. There's a lot of people who want the same thing. A better lifestyle, a new car, purchase a home, additional stream of income, retire early, more time with loved ones, etc.
$o Cal
It's expensive to live in California these days that most are looking for a second job, side hustle or personal venture of some sort but won't admit it. I explain to them that I might have an answer but they must be willing to learn a new skill set. Almost everyone I have presented a business card to has signed up for WA. It's such a great community here, I call it "The Facebook of Affiliate Marketing."
So far this year, I have found an excellent new hobby in which I get to genuinely try to help people who are looking for other options. There are so many fun networking events in San Diego that I will always be carrying my magic business card to show how one can create an income in their spare time and actually enjoy it.
Cheers,
Casey.

You are absolutely correct. I'm in the process of designing a business card now. Thank you for your confirmation that I'm going the right direction
Peace💗
I totally agree with what you say here, Casey.
Just because we're learning how to run an online business, doesn't mean to say we can't promote it offline.
Handing out business cards is a great way to do it until we learn how to leverage the power of the search engines.
No harm in keeping it going after that either.
As the saying goes 'The more rods in the pond, the more fish you'll catch.'
