Hi All,
I'm trying to verify my website to bing and pinterest when I copy the HTML tag into the head tag I get the following message -
Unable to communicate bac
On Pinterest you can just go to your profile settings and click "Claim Website," then just put in your URL. If it gives you a problem I would contact Pinterest, because it shouldn't give you a problem.
On Bing are you using ads?
I've tried that on Pinterest - it gives me the verification code but after I try to put it in my head tag I get that message above. Same on Bing - Bing said it couldn't verify my website. I'm not sure why it's not being found and verified ...
Your website looks great!
Check out these training's on how to verify your website... How To Verify Your Website With Pinterest How to Verify Your Website on Bing I hope this helps!
Thank you!
I've contacted site support and it turns out I've done everything right (yay!) ... my theme is corrupt in someway and I've been advised to change it. Hopefully, this will help ... working on it now :)
Best,
Katie

Hey Katie,
Here are some tutorials that you may find VERY helpful: Verify Bing With All In One SEO Plugin Verify Bing With Yoast SEO Plugin Pinterest: Confirm Verify Your Website Hope this helps you.
Thank you so much. I've done these as well ... I wonder if I've messed something up within editor and now I can't make additions to the coding? I dunno ... still a mystery.
You might have Katie, the only way you will know for sure is to go back and remove all of the script ... make sure your website is okay by checking it, to make sure your site loads correctly in a fresh session of your browser... and then try again.
If you miss so much as one tiny character you could cause your website to not function correctly.
In checking your profile for your website URL that should be shared under your "Follow Me on" section, but alas you have chosen not to share it so I cannot offer anymore than guesses.
Hope this helps you.

Hey Katie,
Thankfully, we can edit posts, questions and comments here at WA. Here's my blog about this: Did You Know You Can Edit Your WA Posts? Hope this helps you.
To edit any of your WA blog posts, click on the down-arrow next to the gear icon and then on the Edit option. (see below)
Yes you can edit the post. Click on the gear icon at the top of the page and choose 'Edit'
When you add images put them in between paragraphs instead of in the middle of sentences.
you can click on the cogwheel and click on edit post. Its in the top next to the comments counter.
