The #1 reason for joining Wealthy Affliate
I joined Wealthy Affiliate in September of 2017. Totally clueless to a blog or any kind of affiliate or online marketing. I was just a girl with a dream. The only thing I knew was that I really, really wanted to create a blog because I love to write. I've never had a career in it ... it's always just been something I enjoy and have been kinda decent at - meaning I know the basics of writing and grammar and family members have always said they like reading my "family update" emails because they're colorful and engaging. Somewhere deep down, something had been pulling me to start a blog and follow the dream I have of working from home and making more than I can in my day job. I'm not quite there yet, BUT, I'm on my way because I'm dedicated, passionate and part of the most amazing support network I could have possibly have asked for.
So, what's the #1 reason why Wealthy Affiliate is so special?
So, I'm sure you're wondering what took me from wanting to write a blog to actually taking the leap - why choose Wealthy Affiliate? Well ... one word, community.
This community of people is absolutely amazing. I've rarely been a part of an online community this dedicated to helping each other and supporting each other. It's really hard to find a community this big that feels so tight-knit, genuine, humorous, helpful ... and I could go on and on. Seriously.
When I first signed up as a Premium Member and started to build my website I asked a gazillion questions that had already been asked a gazillion times before as with most new members. Questions like, how do I add a photo to my post or can I edit a post after it's been published ... we're talking really basic, beginner questions and never, not once, was I made to feel silly or stupid. I was always treated like I was the first person who'd ever asked that particular question. It's a really nice feeling!
Enjoying the live chat that feeds through the community is a great sense of community as well. I love seeing what chit-chat goes on there. It's really nice to chime in when someone shares that they're having their first cup of coffee and you can share a wink in agreement that you are too.
We all rely on each other for various things and everyone is super supportive of each other's needs. We need each other for training purposes, questions asked and answered, comments and feedback and most of all encouragement to keep going. Starting a blog isn't easy and it isn't a get rich quick scheme ... it's hard work and it's time-consuming and you start out for months without making a penny. Without having the Wealthy Affiliate community, I would have most definitely given up ages ago.
What else has Wealthy Affiliate offered me?
Apart from the massive community of super smartie pants bloggers and marketers, the Wealthy Affiliate training has been amazing in my desire to succeed ... there's no excuse not to become successful. Really. Anyone who says they couldn't learn how to write a successful blog on Wealthy Affiliate didn't have the commitment in them when they signed up. I once read a review on Wealthy Affiliate posted by a competitor that actually had 'too much education and training' listed as a negative. Like, what?! How is that even possible?
I LOVE the amount of training available to me. I can literally type in almost anything and there's a blog post about it or a training course available. Not to mention the Online Entrepreneur Certification and Affiliate Bootcamp course as well as the various different classrooms updated with courses by members.
How do you know if you're progressing?
Sometimes when you start something new you have no idea if what you're doing is even on track. But, you keep on going and going, thinking you're making progress when really you're just following a dead end. At Wealthy Affiliate, you know you're on the right track when you follow step by step in the courses you take. It's a no-brainer.
Plus, you are able to check your stats and analytics through the Wealthy Affiliate platform so you always know where you are and more importantly, where you're going. You are never left in the dark about if you're making progress or building a dud website - we give each other helpful and supportive feedback on sites - and by making edits and adjustments and reposting for more feedback, we all only get better. We all want each other to succeed and we're all committed to the overall success of the platform.
As long as you keep at, be patient, stay invested and eager, you will make progress. I trust in my fellow community bloggers and marketers, take their advice and I'm not afraid to reach out for help ... the pay off is a website that I can be proud of and that I'm confident will make a healthy income someday.
So, thank you Wealthy Affiliate and to all it's members, you have my thanks, gratitude and apprciation. Best of luck to all of you!

I like this part here: "Questions like, how do I add a photo to my post or can I edit a post after it's been published ... we're talking really basic, beginner questions and never, not once, was I made to feel silly or stupid.
