Four ways Positive Psychology has helped my WA family grow.

As any newcomer it is important to know what is happening inside Wealthy Affiliate!!

I am a seasoned Life Coach so sharing with tremendous confidence what is alive here in a special place that is truly guided by exceptional leaders and the great influence of a community built for authentic winners.

WA has successfully integrated and intentionally applied the science of Positive Psychology to build strengths, generate gratitude, optimism and humanitarian acts within this incredible community. The outcome of these choices lead to immense positive reward in our lives.

Recognizing where Wealthy Affiliate leverages success with Positive psychology elicits these benefits by actively pursuing four major goals:

Developing individual personal strengths. Support each member rise to life’s challenges and to make the most of setbacks and adversity.

Practicing these strategies has allowed each member to experience real benefits, including reduced symptoms of stress, minimized problems, and greater satisfaction with our lives. By focusing on more positive aspects in our lives, we could find better balance between the good and bad, ultimately resulting in more responsive, authentic and a healthy business.

Studies show the great effects of gratitude on physical health, on psychological well-being, and on our relationships with others.

Fostering gratitude. Engaging and relating to our followers in positive ways that show appreciation and thankfulness, even for small or insignificant things.

The benefits are especially significant here because gratitude is a social emotion. Used as a relationship-strengthening emotion, gratitude requires us to be seen, supported and affirmed by other people.

Encouraging positive emotions, which can broaden and build with each member in our community, and help to discover and attain life goals. This means not only encouraging developmental skills, but generating positive emotions and behaviors that can improve overall happiness.

Encouraging Optimism. Learning to find fulfillment in creativity and productivity, setting goals, and owning the reward of success and happiness.

A review of all the available literature has revealed that happiness does indeed have numerous positive byproducts, which appear to benefit not only individuals, but families, communities, and the society at large (Lyubomirsky, King, & Diener, 2005). The literature also suggests that happy individuals are more creative, helpful, charitable, and self-confident, have better self-control, and show greater self-regulatory and coping abilities.

Promoting Selflessness. Building a community network by looking beyond helps others to find meaning, connection and wisdom.

Deliberate positive living brought together by the WA family community is a way we can begin to care and build for an entire world community. This beautiful, supportive synthesis helps better promote community wellness. We can all be included purposeful efforts to build, but also for increasing and maintaining happiness.
