I do actually enjoy offer comments in WA. Until one of my comment got disapprove. This person said "it sound like you're not someone who would have made this google search in the first place to find the article"
I felt taken back as it sounds very standoff ish. I don't recall having to google a website or article before offering comment. I haven't left comment or really want to be engage in here since then. Oh well. Some things really left a bad taste in my mouth. This is my opinion.

I enjoy leaving comments from time to time.
That makes no sense-the only way I'd even understand that feedback were to be if t he comment were to be unrelated to the topic.

Right! we don't have to be subject expert in order to give comment.

They can also edit it. Haha

That is a torque wrench. Do you know how many foot pounds will allow one not to get their feelings hurt when commenting is declined??? Asking for a friend.

I stop commenting for almost 3yrs lol! I just work on my blog.

Same here

😝

Not sure I understand you well here...

It was a joke. But that GIF you posted was a torque wrench. It tightens nuts and bolt to a specific amount usually in foot pounds. Below is an image of a socket and wrench. Both are the same, but a little different.

Good one!

I switched to commenting on websites... 😏

Don't take it too hard; it happens.

When we make comments, our goal is to sound authentic and genuine. That's precisely what the author intended with their words. So, for instance, when you mention in your comment that you've never heard about the "topic" (post), it raises questions about how you ended up on their site. That doesn’t come across as genuine, does it?

Check out this post by Eric on how to write effective comments on websites.

Yeah, I wouldn't take it personal....

I won't be reading this post. Thanks!

Your comment made me actually want to click on the suggested post. If the person read that post, I get why they commented that feedback to you.

No worries. 😊

I thought she wanted to understand why her comment got disapproved. 😊

Oh well...
