Living simpler . . .

I have been hosting a garage sale for the past two weekends as I am getting ready to sell my house and move in the next week.
I never really thought of myself as a hoarder, but I am honestly starting to believe that I might be one...
I have things that I have kept for the past 20-30 years that I didn't even remember I had! I built pathways around things in the house because I had to "keep that one tote of things" or that random "collectible!"
Like our lives, our businesses can get too cluttered. We keep things that should be sold or just thrown out. We hang onto things for sentimental reasons or whatever reason or even for no reason whatsoever.

Perhaps that post, that is taking up valuable digital real estate, is one we are proud of, but unless it is productive for us and our business, we probably need to delete it.
Unless we are selling something that requires extensive photographic representation, a photo or two or three should suffice. Unless the photo or illustration enhances or adds to the story, delete it. Why take up the space and perhaps even slow your download with pointless photos?
I used to think that every bullet point or headline needed a photo. No. Just no. They don't.
As I am figuring out how to simplify my home and my life, I am also figuring out how to simplify my business.
Keeping things simple can make things a whole lot easier than having to create "paths" to go around everything!
Let's keep it simple and make our businesses and our lives a whole lot less cluttered!
Best wishes for a great weekend!
