Lessons from The Matrix Part 13 [There is no spoon]
Back to the Matrix...
While Neo is waiting for the opportunity to meet with the Oracle, he meets a young boy who is also one of the "potentials" for being The One.
The boy is bending spoons with his mind (think Uri Geller--famously known for spoon bending in the 1970's-1980's).
When Neo takes a spoon and attempts to bend it with his mind, the boy says, "Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."
There is no spoon...
For us here at Wealthy Affiliate, we too must realize, there is no spoon.
We can try manipulating things with our minds, playing tricks and taking advantage of different things, but reality is just this—when all is said and done there is no spoon.
There is no magic trick or secret way to bend a spoon that does not exist.
Once we realize that in regard to our blogging, it is a matter of time and patience and continually working at it that gets us to that place we want to be, the better off we are.
When we try to complicate things (i.e. inventing spoons) it makes us frustrated and we tend to give up. When we simply realize that there is no spoon, only ourselves, we are more easily able to "bend" and do what we need to do—that is writing our blogs!
You can't make money by blogging if you are busy trying to bend spoons that don't exist!
Here endeth the lesson.
Have a great weekend! We are in a blizzard right now, so I will be spending the days at home!

hi Karin and thanks for another intriguing blog. We don't have a blizzard in St. Louis- but we do have the left overs from freezing rain yesterday. So, I'm staying in -trying to catch up on a few things, practice my music for church tomorrow and trying not to bend spoons that aren't there.
You know we do waste a lot of time trying to bend spoons that aren.t there.
Hi Barb, I hope all is going well. I think freezing rain is much worse than a blizzard. I do enjoy staying in, though!
I am constantly trying to bend spoons that don't exist. Just need to put them away!!
