Dear All,

I would like to kindly ask about the likes, followers? I live in europe and I would like to target peoples in USA, Australia and Canada? and later in Europe?

Try hashtags: #US #USA #AUS #Australia #CA #Canada. Then, hashtag your topics. #scubadiving #storytelling #europe etc.

Abie

Thank you for your reply.
Could you clarify more.
How I could be sure that the hashtags will reach my audience ?

They appear in searches if people enter them into the smart search. You can test this yourself to see the results you get.

Additionally, Facebook can provide insights into their popularity, helping you choose the tags with better traffic and relevance to your content.

These posts aren't set in stone; you can always edit and adjust your tags. It's essential to test and focus on what works best.

Abie

You can post stuff in groups and if they engage, you can invite them to like your page.

You mean I should look for groups for peoples living in that countries ? right ?

I'm not sure... there can be groups that have people from all countries... if you have a budget, you can create a Facebook ad for people to like your page for $2 a day and you can target geographically.

Nice Idea.
Thank you

Dear All,

I would like to kindly ask beside writing content for Google and try to be ranked afterwards,
What other online business peoples can do here ?

Have you tried the Opportunity Rating within WA: Those are also included in your hubs :) https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/

Abie

Thank you for sharing. I will have a look on that.
I m interested mainly in e-commerce

No problem, here’s some more info:

With e-commerce, you can sell physical or digital products online.

You can use WordPress with a WooCommerce plugin integrated with PayPal and Stripe payment gateways.

You could stock your own products, which may require capital since you’ll be holding inventory.

Alternatively, with dropshipping, you need to do your due diligence on suppliers to ensure they don't market to your customers without your consent, so reading the fine print is crucial. Some suppliers may require a deposit before doing business.

Profit margins will be lower with dropshipping since you’re not producing the goods, meaning additional costs are involved.

Marketing is essential for all businesses, including dropshipping. One option is using Facebook Ads, which can be costly if you’re unfamiliar with the process.

If you anticipate large volumes, using Stripe instead of PayPal is better, as it may withhold funds, affecting your cash flow.

Affiliate marketing is similar: you don’t deal with customers, payments, shipping, or support. You simply direct customers to merchants, and they handle everything else.

All responses here are valid, but I like Louise's response, as always, to follow what you are passionate about, as obviously you'd excel at that. You never work a day in your life.

Here are a few examples:

E-commerce Store, Dropshipping, Affiliate Marketing, Online Courses and Coaching, Subscription Services, Blogging/Vlogging, Freelancing, Social Media Influencing, Digital Marketing Agency, Virtual Assistant Services, Print on Demand, Mobile App Development, Stock Photography, Online Tutoring, Web Development, Podcasting, Content Writing, Online Consultancy, Software as a Service (SaaS), SEO Consulting, Influencer Marketing Agency, Virtual Events Planning, Online Community Building, Handmade Goods, Reselling Vintage or Thrifted Items, Language Translation Services.

Abie

Thank you for your response.
I will check that out

No problem, Karima!
And let us know how you get on.

You can create blogs for your local community, you can learn email marketing for an audience, newsletters. You need to understand the audience and what you want to provide to them.

Thank you

You can start and run your online e-commerce with
Woocommerce. Your directory site. The sky is the limit.

Could you share the training and How ?

Hi, you can choose whatever business you wish. I would advise you to choose something you are passionate about because the more interest you have in a subject, the more you can write for your website. You can promote anything you like, so find something that suits you and go from there.

Could you mention examples?

That's a great response, Louise!

What are your hobbies ?
you could write about art and crafts, swimming, horse riding, poetry, gardening, art, exercise equipment, holiday destinations. Dear All,

I would like to kindly ask about the affiliate programs details in the Hub ?
In every program, there is the website, and there is also Find in Amazon or J

My best advice would be to look for an affiliate program that has a monthly recurring commission.

Thank you.
Nice advice.
But what are the main points to do check? and where you go, either in their website ? or other sources? The information where u do get it ?
Thank you

This information should be easy to find once you are on the website. Can you share which one you are trying to sign up for?

Networks won't itemize their requirements. They will look at your site and look for things like the amount of content you have, does it all look like it's just AI generated, are there things like a privacy policy, contact us page, about us page, etc. Some will care about how much traffic volume you already have, many won't.

Amazon accepts just about everybody, but they will expect you to have 3 sales within the first 6 months from total strangers. Understand that Amazon knows who all your friends and family are, so they know if you told someone to go make a purchase from your site. They will kick you out for almost any reason. Amazon will let you back in, but then you will have a different ID number, so you will have to update every Amazon link on your site to the new number or else you won't get credit for any sales.

Thank you for the response.
I m not interested for Amazon.
I m looking for where I could read the details for every affiliate programs and Based on what I should Choose it ?

My first thought is always "Would I shop on this site?"

Look for things like the conversion rate, the EPC (earnings per 100 clicks), transaction approval rate. You want to partner with a site that has a conversion rate between 1-5% and an approval rate in the 80-90% range (keep in mind that travel sites, especially hotel reservation sites, will be more like 30-40%). The EPC will be all over depending on the Average Order Value, but you want a company that at least has one that's a fair reflection of their sales.

You can find details about each program within the affiliate network interface. You may need to get approved into the network to see those details because it's not the kind of thing that networks/advertisers want to easily share publicly.

Dear All,

Does anyone can tell me what I should know about each affiliate program I would like to join from A to Z ?
I do accepted by one of the Affiliate programs

You find affiliate programs that are relevant to your business, and you choose them based on that.

What are you wanting to promote within your content? Every piece of content you create is a new opportunity, and to maximize conversions you want to make product/service recommendations that are relevant to the subject matter. :)

Kyle covers choosing affiliate programs and creating content that converts in this lesson in the core training:

Thank you Eric.

That's a lot to ask but simplistically...
1) So easy to get overwhelmed with affiliate programs, pick 1.
2) Register with affiliate. They may approve based on your platforms and traffic.
3) Get your affiliate link.
4) Link to your affiliate link in your blog reviews or content
5) Review the dashboards within the affiliate program to see if you are getting engagement with the link.

See if you can do this. There is no perfect answer. Gotta get your hands dirty and ask questions as you are moving along.

Have fun!

Very nice.
Thank you

And what about if the affiliate programs is in USA ? And you do live in another country ? Is that possible to promote? How it works ?

When you join the affiliate program, there is usually terms of agreement and information you can read through. For example, with Amazon, you have to do extra paperwork for different countries and if you don't and they click, no harm no foul, you just don't collect the commission. Each program is different and you just have to read through the small print. And that is another reason you should focus on 1 affiliate so you know the inside and out. You are also sometimes put in touch with an affiliate manager that can answer all of those questions. I hope you are getting excited 😊

Definitely. I live in NZ and have promoted stuff from the USA. In fact, that's all I've ever promoted I think. I think you're overthinking this. Just cross bridges once you come to them. I remember when I learned to ski, it was initially terrifying looking down the mountain and thinking about everything I'd need to do to get down. It was way easier and more enjoyable when I just looked a few meters ahead of me.

Love the ski analogy Dave!

Dear All,

After I have read this post: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/brendamz/blog/i-lost-my-google-traffic-recovering-from-covid-19.
Does anyone can adress me, i

Absolutely you should.

If I remember correctly you're a PhD student, so I assume you're busy and you need to find a way to make money quickly though? I think it's important to realise that online business takes time so probably not a good option for quick cash. I wouldn't worry too much about Google update though. People are always trying to game the system and trick the algorithm and Google is always trying to get the most useful content to people's searches and their updates ate their attempts to achieve that
So focus on writing good helpful content for humans. Also, there are other ways to promote your site other than Google.

If you do need money quickly, it's probably best to get a part time job in the meantime while your website takes time to gain traction. If you've got your mind set on making money through online business, a faster way might be to start a service based business like tutoring, mowing lawns, cleaning, car detailing etc etc. What skills do you have or could you learn quickly that people would pay for?

You could learn how to market these services online here too. I think Jay/MagiStudios offers good training on local website marketing that may help with that. I hope that helps.

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Now, I do not need to make money faster. It is not my main purpose. I just post this in order to understand what happen with Google, and what I should do. I have never ever have done an online buisness so far.
Yes I m a Ph.D and I m busy but I manage my time. And this is great plateform to learn through.

Thank you again

I would not compare myself to others...

You can diversify your business vs focusing on Google alone.

You may consider other Mediums where your target audience hangs out and seek those search engines, social media platforms, etc.

Examples

Bing / Yahoo
Facebook
Pinterest
YouTube
Email marketing/ Newsletters
Word of Mouth (my favorite)

and lately, Mastodon.

Have you seen Vitaliy series - scenic train rides... the last couple of webinars they go beyond Google Abie

very nice. Will follow you. thank you

No problem.
You're welcome.
