WA Referral progress report - 74 Referrals and 0 Premiums
This is a message I posted earlier today to a member here at WA (Michael - Ultimateless).
"Yes, been sending waves of traffic to my site and there are actually some positive results like getting signups for the referral programs I promote and when people buy things on those sites, I get a small commission.
This has started working slowly but THAT first WA sale, I just cannot get it! :p
On 74 referrals currently (attached) and doing what Kyle suggested in the lessons but 0 premium members at this stage.
Well, just carrying on going forward then, surely by 1000 there will be premiums! :)"
I consider this a success post because some people struggle to get referrals and signups. Even though none have gone premium yet, I have learned nice methods to get people to join WA.
It feels like good progress and it's thanks to Kyle's training and the community here that has educated me to be able to get this far.

At least you're going in the right direction. "If you build it, they will come." (awkward paraphrasing of a great quote.). Of course, Kyle's interaction to this post is priceless. We really do learn something in every aspect of WA!

Depending on when your referrals came through, you will see the highest rate of conversions if people understand what they are joining before they join it.
In this case, you want to inform people what they are going to be doing within WA and what Wealthy Affiliate offers before joining. If you are using an illusive promotional tactic to get WA or the source of traffic is low quality, then conversion rates are going to be much lower.
Also do know that the conversion lifecycle is not just "first week", many people that go Premium do take more time than that.

I do realize this yes. Do my best to give as much information as possible but at the same time I do use vague text adverts on traffic exchanges because this is all that's allowed (limited text space) so it's understandable the person might not know what they in for.
Hope they at least watch your intro video!

Do my best to stay away from illusive promotional tactics and try be as transparent as possible. It's not always possible like with TE's but also all part of the learning curve.
Also started email marketing recently where I am able to give a lot more information so these people will know what to expect.
I will refine what I'm doing more and more.

That explains it. You may never get conversions to these from traffic exchange sites. That explains your no conversions. Hope you are able to get some good follow up strategies to try to convert some of them anyway

It's 'that' time of year being summer, and people are on vacation or not as active. Depending on where they live, this is year round.
Positive thinking:
~~These referrals were done to put it on 'hold' and they will get back to it :)
~~You will get a flood of premium members when you least expect it :D
~~74 referrals is amazing and is excellent progress!

You watch, ma my premiums are going to come in all at once one day K. Then all this waiting will be worth it.
