Choosing A Different Niche

I had chosen a niche that I decided was a little too specific. I started the website on that niche but didn't get too far with it, before it was suggested to me that I should one a little bit more general.

The niche I had chosen was Equine Gastric Ulcers. I chose it because I had a lot of experience and knowledge on that subject. However if its too specific I may not get enough traffic.

So I changed my niche to Common Horse Health Problems. I also have a fair amount of experience and knowledge about different horse health issues through college, life experience, books, magazines, forums, my own horses and other peoples horses. Besides that I am willing to put the time and research into this topic to expand upon what I already know.
