Hi,

I dictated my post above and then asked ChatGPT to clean it up and ask some questions.

Hey there, good morning everybody! How are you all doing today? I just wanted to share a couple of thoughts I had about my morning routine. Since I retired, I've been enjoying taking my dog out for walks, which is one of the perks of not having to work anymore.

Yesterday, I was really excited about Kyle's session on PPC. Unfortunately, it was scheduled for 1 am, so I couldn't watch it live. However, I woke up around 3:30 am and couldn't resist tuning in on my phone. I was able to listen to the whole thing, even though I was still half asleep. Of course, I'll need to re-listen to it later when I'm more alert, but it was still great to catch some of it in the middle of the night.

While I was browsing online, I stumbled upon some other PPC resources. I watched a video about Bing PPC but quickly realized that it was outdated. I'm looking forward to seeing what new training opportunities will be available.

Later on, I was in a room filled with bags of food and presents leftover from Christmas. My dog Buster came in and checked out the room, looking for any treats he could find. It struck me that dogs must have their own version of shiny object syndrome - always on the lookout for something new and exciting.

That got me thinking about how our brains work, particularly the way our fast brain processes information. We tend to focus on things that are new and exciting, while ignoring things that are familiar or similar to what we've seen before.

After our walk this morning, I decided to upload two versions of this article - one dictated using my voice and another cleaned up using ChatGPT to keep my tone of voice. I'm curious to see which one gets more engagement and feedback from you all.

Hey everyone, I have a couple of questions for you all:

  1. How do you relate to the idea of enjoying the perks of retirement, such as taking your dog out for walks? Do you have any similar routines or hobbies that you've developed since retiring?
  2. Have you ever tuned in to a webinar or session at an unusual time, like in the middle of the night? How did you stay focused and engaged during the session?
  3. How do you manage distractions when you're trying to learn something new? Do you find yourself easily sidetracked by other information or resources, like the outdated Bing PPC video?
  4. Do you think that your brain tends to focus more on new and exciting information, or on things that are familiar and comfortable? How do you balance exploring new ideas with reinforcing what you already know?

I'm looking forward to hearing your responses!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you!

All the best,

Julia.

1. I love retirement because I can walk my dog, go fishing when I want and spend as much time at WA and on my websites as I want to.
2. I presented a few webinar type things in the middle of the night during covid isolation. Others found them helpful.
3.I am very easily distracted, but I don't care because I am retired.
4.I read a great deal and spend time watching the source of all truth... YouTube.
Thanks for the fun post.

It sounds like you are using ChatGpt to your advantage, Julia! Well done!

Hmm, That was an interesting ride. I had a hard time following the first version, to the point of just breezing through it to get to the end. The second version was much smoother.
1 - I'll be retiring in 2 years and 8 months. I expect my hobbies to include affiliate marketing, walking my dogs, and affiliate marketing😊
2 - No
3 - I set up my office to eliminate distractions + self control.
4 - Part 1) New and exciting.
Part 2) I don't. If I know something, I know it. I explore new stuff until it becomes known stuff.

Thank you. That was interesting.

Lovely dog!!

He looks formidable, but he is a big lover.

Julia, this is really exciting. It is much clearer and to the point as well

Thanks!

You're always welcome

Hi, Julia

This is a great idea because it really makes dictating content usable without having to manually edit afterwards! 👍😎

And to be honest, sometimes I couldn't figure out what I had meant when I wrote it either!

Haha, Julia!

ChatGPT to the rescue! 😎
