I've not been online much lately along with my self imposed attempt to reduce my screen time during the lenten period there are a whole host of other distractions closer to home that have been much more important to tend to.
When I logged into today for the first time in a week I had no real intention of posting anything but my mind was changed for me when I spied a sequence of numbers on my profile...it appears I have 888 followers in my network!
The number 888 in numerolgy is the number of completion and infinity. The number 8 looks like two zeros stacked neatly on top of each other to form a number, that can turn in on itself. It also closely resembles the Chinese symbol of Yin and Yang.
This number set basically is giving a clue into how the world works; it does this by announcing to you that you should take the good and the bad and make everything work in your favor.
It appears that 888 reveals itself when your thoughts and vision for your life are in alignment. It serves as a reminder that whatever you’re doing is right and that you should keep at it until you get your break!
So I'm all for following that message...perserving is the way to go!
I hope all of you whether you are in my network or not are keeping well and healthy in these trying times.
It has been heartening to see and witness so many who are helping others in a world of chaos!
Countries helping other countries, healthcare workers and frontline staff across the globe going above and beyond the call of duty in gigantic acts of care and kindness.
Acts of kindness in our local communities, neighbours singing en masse from their balconies in an effort to boost each others morale.
The Irish appear to have embraced a culture of volunteering, ordinary folk have made themselves available to help those who need it most, running errands, getting in food supplies etc. all made possible by a world of social media and modern technology.
To celebrate our national holiday tomorrow 17th March for St Patrick's Day our children have hung their art work on the front windows of their homes so that those who are out walking while observing social distancing can have something to look at. It is called a reverse St Patrick's Day parade - we walk by the entertainment instead of the parade passing by us.
Across the globe I'm sure there are many other positive stories unfolding...
It occured to me amidst all this that while we may be experiencing a global pandemic we are also witnessing a global activation.
It appears we have become energised with the helping of others, helping our neighbour, helping those in need, helping ourselves to stay healthy and well.
I sincerely hope and believe that this "World Reset" will cumulate in a far better place for us all to live!

It’s going to be a very different St Patrick’s Day here in Ireland Jules with the Country awashed with fear, concern and uncertainty. Few seem to know what to do to be right and the expectation is that things will get much worse before they get better. It is at these times that we see how Ireland and the World currently lack any worthwhile leaders. That is my biggest fear. We have no one who is prepared to step up and lead us through this disaster. Looks like we are going to have to look out for each other and get through this together

I love hearing the stories of people helping each other and making a difference in other people's lives as we all go through this unknown time together. Creativity is key during times like this, I love the idea of the reverse parade- a great way to safely celebrate and bring happiness to others around you!
