I want to get credit if some friends want to join.
How can I add wa affiliate program to my site?
I want to get credit if some friends want to join.
Hi Judy. If you click on the small airplane icon at the upper right side, you will come to the Program Details page. At the top is your affiliate link that you can put on any page or post within your website. When someone clicks on it, you have a new referral. There are also banners if you click on that at the far right as well. Hope that answers your question.
Hi Michelle I had this same question and it is good I found an answer. So how do I add my affiliate link in any of my post/pages shall I just copy and paste in any space in any post/page? How about the banners it says their download and what next?..Hope to hear from you. Thanks .Jenny
Hi Jenny. When adding your WA affiliate link within your post or page, you would take the following steps:
- open up your dashboard and go into your post or page that you want the affiliate link in
- open another page of WA and click on the black airplane, your affiliate link is on the next page at the top
- highlight your link and copy it
- go into your post or page and find somewhere in the words you have written that it could go. You might have something like "find more information here" for example. The word "here" would be a good place to put your affiliate link.
- make sure you are in text mode on your post or page, then highlight the word "here." Click on Link and a new little screen pops up.
- in the URL space, paste your affiliate link that you had copied earlier
- check mark the box that says to "open link in a new window" and then click "add link"
- click on "update" on your page or post. If you switch back to Visual mode, you will see that the word "here" is now blue and will be clickable on your website.
For the banners, highlight the HTML code on the one you want and go back to your website page or post. In Text mode, put your cursor where you want it and paste it in. Then click on Update. Switch back to Visual mode and you will see the banner is in its place where you put it.
If that doesn't make sense, let me know. :)

the question says it all.
I find that most of the time it is very seamless to make a theme change unless you have made some changes to the css file or the .php files directly. The content might not look exactly the same either, so it is always good to switch back as different themes format your content different.
It is always best to make theme updates earlier on in the website building process as it can lead to some footwork after the fact.
Thanks for taking time out for me. It is well appreciated. My website is very young so I had not problems. I am very pleased now with the theme. Crisp, neat and food friendly.
I want to thank Robs, Michelle04, gbmarksmedia, and Zunainah for helping me. I have done it and it turned out great. Thanks so much.
The simple answer is no. Some themes have different settings but your content is safe to transfer from theme to theme. Remember , simple is best.
Hi. Most of the time when you change themes, everything goes smoothly. All of your information transfers easily to the new theme. Every once in awhile, somebody will have problems. For that reason, I suggest you do a backup of your website before you change your theme. Better to be safe than sorry.
