Haven't A Clue
Driving through the Wealthy Affiliate website since early this morning and now feel as if I'm going in circles... and my head hurts. Why? Because I don't have a clue what it is I'm supposed to be learning.
Here is the post I left in the discussion section of the Walk Through video:
I am having difficulty focusing because I still don't know exactly what it is I am supposed to be learning to do. Create a website, got that. I'm so lost at the moment, I can't even formulate a question. What's all this about blogs? Let's say my niche is cruising. Carnival in particular. Now what? I'm certainly not an expert on the subject though I am very familiar. So Carnival Cruise Lines is my niche. What do I do with that?
Perhaps it would help if I were to say why I'm looking for an additional income; Cruising, nothing more, nothing less. I just want to earn some money to pay for my obsession. Leaving as the only question, is WA the right place for me to do that, or should I continue my source of "extra income" journey.
By the way, I have never written anything remotely resembling a blog, so if I'm not doing it correctly, my apologies.

If you start with the lessons in the Green Button, top left menu, you will learn how to build a website. The lessons will teach you how to write the content and then how to monetize that content to make money from your website. You need to follow each lesson and don't skip any tasks. If you take it one lesson at a time, you won't feel so overwhelmed. Hope this helps.
Hello Ed, from what I read, limited as it is, your passion is travelling on cruises. The question now arises what is it about cruising that you like? What are the benefits versus some other form ot travel? Have you been on other cruise lines to do a comparison? Those are topics you can research or talk about on your website posts and I am sure there are others. My suggestion is to keep taking the lessons and applying what you have learned. There are no easy steps, whether you stay with Wealthy Affiliate or some other online organisation, but I will bet you will be hard pressed to find one like WA.
