Working on a Bank Holiday!
Is it a Bank Holiday in your part of the world? It is here in England, and guess what? I'm working! This is one of the things you have to get used to when you are self-employed.

But, I am working today in order to ensure a brighter tomorrow and all the tomorrows which will come! Being a freelance writer means you have to work when the work is there, but hey, it pays the bills and I can't complain at that, can I?

If you're still a member of the 'office 9-5' structure and enjoying your day off today, then here's to you my friends. I imagine that you wish for the following...

But ultimately I believe we are all working towards the same goal which is to be financially free, independent and able to provide for our families and loved ones, right? Whichever way you get there, I salute you and here's to a great future for all of us!
Ciao for now my lovelies,

There is no such thing as a Bank Holiday in the USA.
What I appreciate is the flexible hours, even if I do work late at night, early morning or on the weekends, I can schedule my own hours.
And the time I spend commuting back and forth to work can be counted in seconds, rather than hours. :)
Not a holiday here in the US, but I've taken the day off to accompany my husband to an appt in metro Detroit (an all-day undertaking to drive down and back) and will take another half day off to take dear friends to the Traverse City airport. For their return trip home after a summer here. That's one of the blessings of self-employment... but, of course, I'm working long hours the rest of the week!
Just came back from Nottinghill carnaval...and kept checking my emails from WA. Haha. Quite addictive somehow!
And yeah, Jude, I understand what you mean.
Good luck.
Nathalie
Cheers Nathalie, and you too. Hope you have a fab day? The weather in Staffordshire was beautiful and it's usually better down South :)
Thanks Jude.
The day was good indeed.
Good music, delicious caribbean food and great weather.
The perfect recipe for a fab day! :)
Have a great evening.
