2 weeks of low motivation

I am not gonna lie. Last 2 weeks have been not productive to me, at all.

At least if I could say "oh, I wasn't working on this project because I was busy with this other one" I would feel better about myself.

But in reality, last 2 weeks have been a big waste of time, and money of course, in Wealthy Affiliate.

In my first 2 weeks here I wrote 10 articles. In the last 2, only 2 articles.

At first I blamed my two other jobs. One got busier than normal, but I wasn't really using all my down time there to invest it on Wealthy Affiliate, so that wasn't the reason. The other one is a work from home where I just work 1 or 2 hours a day.

Then I blamed my lack of sleep, I was sleeping only 4 hours every day. But in the end, it was also my fault, as I had a very disorganized schedule.

The truth is that I wasted all this time, but at least now I acknowledge the root of my lack of motivation: my brain yelling me that this is a waste of time and money.

And now I am telling my brain: SHUT UP! You were raised to believe the only way to make a living is by working for someone else, and we are not that person anymore. Shut up and let me work.

So if you are in my same position, just remember that work always pays off, but only if you do not quit.

As for me, I will start solving my issue with the easiest and most obvious solution: I will write an article today. And one tomorrow. And one the day after. I promise that, and it would be great if someone wants to held me accountable (I can happily return the favour if needed).

Shut up brain, start feeling sorry for ourselves and let's get to work. Complaining won't solve anything.

Hey, that is OK. We all have such time but always back to normal. Just keep stable steps, not too fast but not too slow.

During our lockdown, my husband and I produced 3 articles per 2 weeks, but now 1 per week because we have to work on our daytime. We also produced 3-4 posts on Facebook. We do not produce frequently, which I think it is still good for us.

This is the hardest part of entrepreneurship. only we can hold ourselves accountable. Plus the first 6 months are the hardest because you don't see results. I too am in this boat with you

I think we all can relate to that sometimes. But I'm sure you'll overcome that.

We all have those moments we don't feel like it ,or we can't produce anything productive and so on.
A system I use and might help you too :

Here's a quote I have on my desk. Maybe it will help.
"The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have" Vince Lombardi
