Are PPC Campaigns worth it?

A ot of you may know i have been struggling with getting traffic, i may only get a couple organic searches a day. So every once in a while i like to do a PPC campaign and work on making my campaign even better for the next time with good converting ad groups.

I dont load a lot of money either, i use bing ads and i only load 20 dollars to my account to run a ad and i set my bid at 40 cents. I ended up getting over 100 page views to my new article i published and i ended up getting like 70 clicks. Within one day i got 6 referrals from my PPC campaign, none of them has set up there profile yet. But they could later down the road and if any becomes premium members then i will make a profit from what i spent on the campign, all i need is one referral to go premium. So lets hope they actually take it seriously and get there profile up, i will continue to use PPC campaigns in the future and learn how to make them even better to convert!

Hey Justin,
Great job!!! I like the way your determination to stick with the PPC model and make it work for You.

Tried and True

Well done on your PpC. My last go had PPC´s of 50-75c so you did well to find worthwhile keywords @ 40c

That's the way to do it as it's definitely a learning experience. I've only ever done one PPC campaign and I definitely lost money on it, but it also led me to my first true organic affiliate sales (though the sales themselves didn't really add up to much). I do want to try it again, but not until I get through the Affiliate Bootcamp where there's an entire section devoted to PPC.

Hi Justin,
I am not that familiar with the PPC campaign. I might find a little more about it.

Thanks for sharing.

Bill

Build your traffic slow and sure!

If done right yes.

Honestly, I probably would not take an article optimized for SEO and run paid traffic to it.

Paid traffic is special and you need to write content specifically for the keywords you are targeting.

Also, just being honest $20 is not enough to throw at paid ads.

You'd probably do better boosting on Facebook.

Regardless, this is just my opinion but I would focus on either free or paid traffic and work with it till you win and make money. If you jump around too much, you will be left broke.

Not trying to discourage, just trying to be honest here.

That 20 dollars still drove a lot of traffic and got me 6 new referrals in a day so I could still make a good profit if they convert

Sounds good. I'm still building out my site and struggling with traffic. Maybe I'll try some PPC as well.
