The coveted page one Google rankings. Seems like bitter sweet at times especially when trying to rank for competitive keywords. But it doesn't have to be. In this article I will outline how you can rank on page one of Google every time guaranteed in less than thirty days.

"Well that is quite a tall statement Mr. Jr." It is when thinking along traditional web standards. But when you learn to think outside the box you will find that opportunities will open up in places you least thought of.

Now this strategy is for those who want to or are building websites on a regular basis. I run an agency along with doing affiliate marketing and about a year ago I bumped into the idea of creating sites targeted to a specific industry in a specific city.

I am not talking about doing local SEO though it is part of it. What I am referring to is creating information sites that share industry tips and resources tailored to a specific city.

Let's say I have a site on kids clothing. After doing simple keyword research for example on "baby clothes in Atlanta" you will find almost no competition. Remember even if the person in Atlanta who is searching for baby clothes doesn't enter "in Atlanta" on Google, Google will still display my post to them because of the keywords and because it matches their geographical area.

Not only that but you can also add the name of popular businesses within your keywords to piggy back off of their traffic! This is just one post! Add your internal/external links and relevant keywords and you have yourself an evergreen post.

This is not new strategy. People have been doing this for years as I have come to understand. But the opportunities are endless! Especially in the DIY niche.

I personally have been able to rank six of my sites on page one consistently since their debut using this method yes in less than thirty days. I recently put up a roofing site that ranked in less than two weeks on page one!

Remember targeted to a specific city. You will find that a lot of businesses do not have their sites optimized properly opening opportunities to scoop up traffic and affiliate sales easily.

The way I go about it is once I find an industry in a city that is popular I build out the site to at least fifty pages well optimized. That really is all you have to do. Add your affiliate links and call to actions at the end of every article and let Google do the rest.

Finding a low-competition but high traffic keyword to rank for it a lot easier to do when you are focusing on one city or geographical area instead of the world wide web. Hope this helps!

Fight On!

Thanks JR for giving me yet another arrow in my quiver of arrows. A great idea that never occurred to me until now. I will give it a try.

The possibilities are endless. You can easily re-purpose any blog to a specific city and probably get more traffic because you have less competition.

Hi JR, long time no see. That's still Local SEO sites, so you're following the “rank and rent” type of SEO for small businesses for leads? Or are you building a website for them? I am aware of this method. How would this work for affiliate marketing in the MMO niche- the same way? This niche isn't rank and rent or build sites for other businesses like an agency-run business. Thanks for sharing your experience with your agency business.

Local SEO entitles more than what I outlined here. With local SEO you have to create citations, GMB, Voice, etc., Also it is for brick and mortar companies not for affiliate marketing.

As far as it working for MMO that is what I am doing. You can "back end" your offers from just about anything. That is what WA is all about!

Make a blog post about pink daisies in summertime Miami and at the end of your content add "By the way, every consider working from home..."

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. Not my type of blog post thanks anyway.

I was being sarcastic. Your blog doesn’t have to be all MMO in order to promote offers.

I have blogs about roofing, water treatment, cleaning services, auto repair, etc., with call to actions to affiliate programs.

Hi JR

A very interesting concept, indeed! 👍

I'll definitely give it some thought. 😎

Thanks,

Just another strategy to add to the arsenal buddy.

Yup! 😎

Very awesome, indeed, JR! Thanks for the great information!

Jeff

My pleasure my friend.

Much appreciated, JR!

Wow, thanks so much for the helpful information, will give it a try and let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

This strategy has worked consistently for me. I add my Amazon affiliate links within the content and banner in the sidebar and that's it. You can literately have fifty sites all on the same niche just targeted to different cities. As long as your content and your images are optimized you will rank on page one.

Thanks again, really sounds great!!
