"Newbie" Joins Premium Members At No Additional Monthly Expense.

It was one of those nights that I just couldn't sleep. I was mad at myself for once again fallen prey to another Internet predator that had promised me a new easy way to make money online. How could I fall into another internet scam for a 2nd time? Haven't I learned anything in over 20 years of a successful business career? Ha,ha!

I wanted to fly to this guy's home and pummel him into the ground, while lecturing him on his lack of ethics, integrity, and proper representation. Then the Zen side of me took over and I grabbed my laptop and starting Googling something like; 'report online scams".
I don't recall exactly what my search words were but, www.nomorebsreviews.com caught my eye. In the review portion of this site, I saw the author's pro & con write up on Wealthy Affiliates.
(small tangent: This young man has found a great niche and I'll bet he has a wonderful future ahead for himself).

The following evening, I went to WA and signed up for the free membership. Within a short amount of time, I received a friendly welcome post from a very nice woman. My cynicism wouldn't allow me to open up to her welcome, so I asked her if she was making any money off of being the first person to welcome me (Sorry Carson, I read hers first). I could almost see her smiling through cyberspace as I read her response: "Jim, to answer your question, I receive no income from greeting Newbies. Income is only made by setting up a website and having advertising on it."

For the next 3 days, I spent every spare minute I had on WA, doing some training, reading blogs, corresponding with great people, and often being a bit of a voyeur in the live chat. I felt a new enthusiasm in me, wanting to discover and learn as much as possible at this site. Everyone I interacted with was like the good side of my family (yes, I have some relatives that I wish were in someone else's family). Yet I felt the frustration that I didn't have access to certain videos which I knew had pearls in them for me. I also didn't like that I couldn't PM with anyone on questions that I felt were either too confidential for the live chat, or just plain stupid. I know, "there's no such thing as a stupid question". But in my world, it's so easy to ask one trusted person, instead of throwing it out there in front of God knows how many people. I'll work on that.

I kept saying to myself, "Just join, and get full access. Another $47/mth won't hurt you." Then the other side of my brain would say, "It's the principal of the matter, with your scam experiences you vowed you would not pay another dime in your quest to learn how to be good at this stuff!" As the two hemispheres of brain went at it, I drifted back into WA and starting reading a woman's blog that talked about the positive impact on the family time when her family disconnected the TV over the holidays. Suddenly, my brain said, in a very clear and concise tone, "Give up your TV service and join WA. You pay about $68/mth on your TV service. Put that money towards WA." So I did that today, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As I sometimes feel when I make stock trades, I feel that I have just taken money from a bad fund and invested it into one that is going to give me a much higher return. Some of you may think you could never give up your TV service, but I assure you, it's no skin off my back. I hardly watch TV. The point is, If you want something bad enough, figure out how to get it. I look forward to learning more here at WA University; Getting to know more good people, and maybe taking a new direction in life. God bless all.
