My heart is happy: Site has been indexed!
Two weeks ago I have fully decided to start working on fulfilling my dream - to become an online freelancer.
True story:
Ever since I started working in a Corporate office (10 yrs ago), I have this dream of having my OWN office. I honestly don't know where that came from, haha but yep. That's true. Later on I get to realize, "Ah! I want to work from home!" .. Then I ask myself: "What kind of job? Is it really possible? Nah.. that must be hard. I'm not tech savvy, all the more I don't have enough knowledge how and where to even start. So yeah.. I just probably have to stick to my actual job."
Fast forward this year 2018, I got finally fed up of working a job that I don't like. I mean.. I'm grateful to have a job of course.. but you know this feeling of forcing yourself to get out of bed just to go to work? The feeling of wanting to go home even you just got in the office? The feeling of doing something, but you know deep in your heart you're not meant for that? and so on.. Until I just found myself waking up one day with a full-fledged decision to quit my job, and just do something I really want! At the end of the day, it's my life.. right? My decision. My responsibility.
I submitted my resignation without any final thoughts of what to do next. All I know is.. I will follow my heart, because that's the only way I get to appreciate life and not wake up every day hating it.
Now I'm here! Taking the courses of WA, with a happy heart. The bonus of working on it so far in my first week? -- An email this morning saying: MY SITE HAS BEEN INDEXED by Google! wooohoo, It's Amazing, isn't it?
I know this is just a start. But that's the point - it's a start! and I'm glad I've done it with WA, and will continue growing it in here. I'm learning so much, and loving the people in this community. So warm and open! Thank you everyone for inspiring people like me who just started realizing dreams. Much appreciated.
Life lesson I've learned on what I shared today:
Don't ignore your heart. It knows exactly who you are, what you want, and where you like to go. If you start listening to it, your soul will thank you.
