Disappointment and Hope and More Disappointment. Is There Any Hope?
You see I've been wanting to get into this niche for a long time, but just haven't dared to do it. I have a lot of great ideas on how to help people in this niche and just felt the timing was not right or I was not ready for it. I still feel that way, but I'm jumping in anyway because I know that if I don't, I never will. I must take action.
So what got me down? I came across someone who was doing almost exactly what I had planned to do in this niche. I was so disappointed. Now I had competition. But, it also gave me hope.
Why hope? It confirmed that I was on the right track in doing what I wanted to do. And I think I can do it better or different enough that I can still have the upper edge.
So I was feeling pretty good. And then, more disappointment.
Why? I found out that my state is wanting to pass one of those Nexus laws. I was planning on using Amazon.com as my product source for this niche so this could be a problem.
So is there any hope for me?
Of course there is. Amazon isn't the only place I can find the products I need for this niche and I read a post from PotPieGirl on her blog that talked about her state passing one, but Amazon deciding not to block those affiliates. So that gave me hope.
I'm looking forward to getting started in this niche and will keep you updated on my successes.

All of the lights are never going to be green at the same time. You just have to start, learn as you go, and figure out solutions as they come your way.
Oh and no one can ever do the exact same thing as you because you're not them and they're not you. Every one brings a little something different to the table because of who they are and what they have experienced.
If you don't try then you will never know. The only time we fail is when we don't try. Give it a go. Also, I haven't found a niche yet that doesn't have some competition. It is all in the keywords and breaking it down to that targeted niche.
I'm sure you'll do great at your chosen niche, because your heart is in it & I think that counts for a lot!! I also agree that there's always hope & a different angle one can take to achieve a certain result. You can do it!! :)
Great post. You are your own competition first. Make a site niche that you are proud of and would want to visit.
