Am I Overachieving?

I have not been with WA but maybe a week. I have read that it takes about 50 good posts for your website to start creating an income. I start school in 15 days so it has been my goal to create one good blog post a day until then, since my time will be more taken up. I know this is a bit overachieving but I love writing and am pretty decent at it.

However after I sleepily posted one last night, I realized I don't have to publish them when I finish the writing! I can write my good content and go back to re-edit it so I can be sure it is great writing rather than half done.

The reason I want to get my site going so quick is so I can stay home with my new daughter and my funds are dwindling. I don't want to rush and become sloppy, either, which is why I've decided to write the posts but not publish them. I'm also not skimping on training as it reaches me so much. I'm finding a part time job until I can really get this ball rolling. I just don't want to let her go, as crazy as that seems. (TMI?) Fingers crossed this will really be my career path. I'm feeling really good about it.

Jordan,
Part of my inspiration is to spend more time with my 9-year-old and that my boyfriend and I are hoping to have another one. I work so much at my current job that I feel as if I'm missing too much.
I wish you the best of luck!

You too! My goal is to work hard for little periods in order to enjoy life more. Our society has fallen into this live to work mentality and I refuse. Enjoy your time with your LO

So true! In discussing having another child, my boyfriend and I agree that I can't go back to work at the same place I am now. They take good care of us there, but it's insane hours. I'm gone constantly. Very little time off...which I spend a lot on illness because I'm prone to migraines...which I think the work honestly causes from stress.
It would be great to have more flexibility and spend the time with them before it's gone.
I wish you the best of luck!

I hear ya on the time allocation thing. Presently I am working full-time, packing up the house for our move and working full-steam with Wealthy Affiliate. I am trying to achieve a post a day at least. I know I won't have 50 before end of month but have to start some place.
High Five to Being An Over-Achiever!! :)
