Hi John, sorry to answer late but I was one of those Yahoo email users not receiving notifications for a day and a half.
The code you show here does not look like a Google verification code. Look at my code

Thanks for the video John, but when I go here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home
it's telling me my website isn't verified yet, and doesn't give me the dropdown options in the setting menu in order to retrieve it. I'm lost..thanks for helping
Hi John
try this and see if you maybe overlooked a step. Hard for me to analyze because I don't know what exactly you have done so far. Setting Up & Verifying Google Webmaster Tools Let me know if this is of any help. In the meanwhile, I try to get to it from another angle.
John
I agree, I definitely missed a step. When I downloaded the HTML verification file. it looks exactly the same as the google site verification code - not unique at all. I registered for Google Analylitics and tried to verify again, but I'm still missing the unique code

HI John
you said that you have google analytics code installed on your site. To verify, you would use the "recommended method", meaning you would just click on "verify".
If you PM me the URL to your site, I can take a look at the source code and make sure your google analytics code is in correctly.

I'm looking for something free or low cost that works well with our version of Word Press and that can export fairly seemlessly into Pintrest. Thanks!
Hi John, health and nutrition is a formidable niche these days, you could specialize in a micro niche of it as it's too broad. You are lucky!
Hi John, may I recommend you contact a successful WA member who has a food recipe website and ask him how he shares with visitors and Pinterest. Here is the link. He is a good man and will help you.

I spoke too quickly - the social media icons are the most effwctive ways to share WP content. Whats your opinion anout Instagram?
I think social media is also the most common way that people understand and they won't hesitate to share. The good social media plugins do allow for instagram icons as well. I think it's really important for what you are doing. Everyone loves looking at food pics. Also, there is discussion somewhere here in WA about leveraging Instagram to driving in traffic.
I'm curious. I'm sure you've considered setting up social media icons which make it very easy to share with Pinterest and others. What is your assessment about using them? That's how I share everything I write.
Social media Icons are very useful PastorTae, especially for what you are doing "Promoting Intangibles" I suggest not having more than 5 though, usually the basic ones are Twitter, Facebook, G+, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
sure, the good social media plugins will allow you to customize. My question was more about the reason why he was looking into another way to share apart from social media icons. thanks
Oh ok, my guess is that he was just trying to make his site a lot more user friendly and add some better features to it that would would make the communication between him and his traffic a lot more interesting :)
yes - for food. For me to share initially, and also my readers to contribute. That could be down the road. I just want to find a clean looking and easy plugin for me to share my food recipes.
