Many people approach affiliate marketing as if it were a set of blueprints, like building a table. You follow the instructions, step-by-step, and voilà – success! But the reality is far more nuanced. While there are fundamental principles to learn (like keyword research or content creation), affiliate marketing is less about rigid construction and more about creative composition.

Think of it this way:

Building a table is like following a recipe. If you follow the measurements and instructions precisely, everyone who uses the same plan will end up with a nearly identical table. Affiliate Marketing, however, is more like composing a song.

You learn:

• the elements of music theory (your affiliate marketing training here at WA)
• the different instruments (YouTube, Pintrest, SEO etc) and;
• various musical styles (your niche selection).

But ultimately, you have to write your song.

You have to combine those elements in a way that resonates with your audience.
