Blizzard conditions in New England as I write this for Today, Thursday, January 4, 2018. They are predicting 1 to 3 inches per hour all day and say it will wind down approximately 8 p.m. eastern time. Cold and High Winds too. Some people could lose power. Let's hope not. Although, I'm used to the winters in New England it doesn't mean that I like them. I need to move or become a snowbird. Smile :) Although the skiers are loving this I'm sure. I'm keeping warm until later when I have to go out and shovel all this new white stuff. Booooooo :) I hope everyone is doing well. Stay safe if you are in bad weather. Have a great day my WA family. Until next time....

Hello John, we have been having extremely cold weather for the past week. It let up for Wednesday but is returning starting today. I am not sure which I like the worse, snow or frigid weather. Stay safe.

Hello Harvey, We have been receiving the extreme cold weather too this past week. They say it will continue after today's blizzard too. Thanks for stopping by...stay warm and safe too. Happy New Year.

I live in New England too. At least most folks in my state stayed home or off the roads today, so that the plows can do their job.

What part of New England Sylvia? Yeah you are right about that. We have many smart New Englanders here. ;) Happy New Year! P.S. Go Patriots!!!

In Connecticut

Nice! I've been there visiting my Best friend and also trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun...but mostly Foxwoods.

I'm at the other end of the state near MA, off 91N

I hear ya John. I've done enough shoveling for my taste already. I'm up in the Pac NW dealing with ice and in particular, melting ice in the gutters of the building i live in, which is resulting in leaking into the building. Others in the area are afflicted with it as well. Dread!

Stay safe good sir, Brad

Oh man sorry to hear Brad. Let's hope the winter flys by and it's not as bad as predicted. Stay warm and safe too. Happy New Year!

Hey John

You are doing the right thing staying indoors and being winter safe "LOL" spending quality time with the family. Make it a snow day!

Debbie

Thanks Debbie....but I can only prolong the inevitable of shoveling in the extreme cold and winter. I'm not looking forward to it. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy New Year!

I know the feeling John! Most of my life has been in California. Now in North Carolina (temperature was 8 degrees yesterday), and certainly not use to the COLD!

What's up with this weather? North Carolina is suppose to always be warm or hot. Darn Global Warming. Stay warm my friend. Happy New Year!
