Ode To Jude.
In reading JudeP's blog (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/judep/blog/take-a-moment-to-reflect) of moments ago, I'd found myself 'liking' it, but a 'like' for the message only, and certainly not about her heartbreaking time with an ill friend in Italy...a dear friend whom she feels she may not ever have opportunity to see again.
I truly believe that, given our opportunities for things like 'the laptop lifestyle', we are in such an amazing position to enjoy so much more with our families...and her blog (and, subsequently THIS one) is timely, as I was having very similar thoughts this morning for my upcoming blog over on my thejoeproject.me site as I was driving my 2 young children to daycare.
We've come, as a society, from the 60's and 70's where people were helping one another along, coaxing and coaching, sharing and celebrating, and then the '80's and '90's hit (when I was just breaking into the workforce, and everything turned around. We became about "I have 'more', but now I need even more than that!", and all bets were off. We aren't going to celebrate our neighbor anymore, at least not if they have 'more' than I do...
It's quite honestly one of the things I'm loving about WA already; how much everyone supports each other in their success (or in their 'journey to').
Time with family and friends. We can always make more money...buy more...sell more...but we truly cannot ever get that time back with those we love.
Embrace this lifestyle. Embrace them.
Be well,

Some great thoughts, right? Hard not to support her, especially when she's experiencing such a personal challenge.
Be well,

Just read her post too minutes ago, and you're right, nowadays, people work and work in order to have more than enough and lost precious time to enjoy with loved ones bec of working. Hopefully, working will change its phase when the time comes that people doesn't need to go to the office anymore bec everything will be online - I'm waiting for that time to come and glad that its already started.
No question! For those of us here @ WA, that time is 'Now'! :)
All the best!
