Pie in the sky!
Some have told me that's what my positive thinking is!
- They're right... I like pie, and I do reach for the sky!
- I confess, I'm a dreamer... I look at things differently.
- Personally, I don't care what others think about my writing... don't read it!
- At my age, I've lived more than 10 life times. Been to over 41% of the known world.
- Been to the top in every position I have occupied - pie in the sky? Don't wake me up!
- I confess, I am not a techie, so I don't try to write about things I don't understand.
- Could I tell you about algorithms, SEO, multi-level marketing?
- Probably, but you would not believe me as it would be obvious I don't know about it!
- So, what do I write about? Things I understand... things I have experienced.
The Concorde... one of the most beautiful planes ever built!
- I've flown on it both ways across the Atlantic... what an experience.
- The Orient Express... one of the most beautiful trains...
- Rode it from London to Venice.
- QE2... one of the most beautiful ships ever built... sailed it from England to New York.
- Am I a dreamer... damned right!
P 51 Mustang... most beautiful fighter ever made!
- Served as crew chief on one for 4 years in the USAF. Pie in the sky... darned tootin!
- Positive thinking is rubbish... what do you think?
Napoleon Hill summed up my positive thinking this way:
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
Tell me it ain't so!

Hi Joe,
I firmly believe as you: if you can dream it then it is possible.
But as with all things in life, there are limitations to what one's abilities or skills can obtain. However, teaching, learning, or following someone that has taken the path of your dreams may in fact help you achieve those dreams that you might think are completely unreachable.
Hill's works contended that passionate expectations are essential to enlightening or enhancing one's life. An example that comes to mind when I think of this concept is Steve Jobs: a man of such great passion for every business decision he ever made.
Onward and upward,

Oh the concorde!
A masterpiece of aeronautic engineering
Perfectly streamed...
When the flights stopped,
Europe weaped...
And the mustang!
Great in simplicity indeed
Beautiful memories you bring back...
From a time where money was not the main goal
but craftmanship..
Have a great week Joe
Keep distracting us

Yes I know my friend. I just couldn’t afford it with 4 small children. I always wanted to fly on a jumbo. Luckily did that last year. Knew they were coming to an end.
That is a great blog, Joe. I think it is kewl you got to experience these things. Seems like great writing material.
Cya. 🙂

Nothing wrong with a little pie in the sky...as a pilot, you could appreciate that. I do believe that positive thinking is something we should all practice. It will serve us far better than lots of negativity.
Notice the date you wrote this post...only four days ago. I am slowly catching up with all the emails.
Hey Fran. Haste makes waste! Take your time as this a marathon, not a sprint.
