That's what a pilot friend said...
- He never checked the oil...
- Never checked the weather...
- Didn't have a clue how much fuel was in the tanks except looking at the gauges!
- Yet, he flew for 40 year before his eyesight went bad.
- I always admired his attitude and resented it at the same time.
- He did not worry about anything...
- Flew with absolute abandon... could say, he flew by the seat of his pants!
- Was he dangerous? Well, could be, but he survived.
- How do you see yourself at WA? Cool... stressed... I can do it attitude?
- Well, let me tell you, you can stay cool and have a can do attitude at the same time!
As I have written before, stress kills!
- How do I deal with it? Stop working... grab a good book.
- Love taking a walk in the yard... love looking things up on the computer.
- Turn the TV and all sound equipment OFF!
- Just sit in my chair and think about the good things that have happened to me.
- Dwell on the positive.

My wife is a great one for always bringing up what could have been if only------. I always tell she is wasting energy dwelling on the past. work on tomorrow. My problem is I know I can, but I was born in a physical time not a cyber time. Good story, at first I say the airplane in the houses and hoped it wasn't you. Stay safe Joe.

There are old pilots, there are bold pilots, but.....there are no old bold pilots!
There's nothing so useless as the air above your wings and yes we do find them those cool dudes of the air.
I too have a fellow pilot friend the same as yours, Joe. We flew many hours together and I learnt many valuable lessons from him, like always to look ahead and always have a plan B and C..... it should be second nature.
Stress will only cloud those thoughts.
Stop stressing and start living!
