Goals, goals, more goals!
Only you can answer this question?
"The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score." –Bill Copeland
- Do you want to score or run up and down the field?
- Are your goals sufficient to get you there?
- Sub-goals are just as necessary as the actual goal.
- If you fail to plan, you plan to fail... that's a wise sage.
You may be open, but do you know where you're going?
- Have you established your goals?
- Do you know What you want?
- If not, how will you know if you get there?
- Goals are NOT obsolete... set some!

Thank you Joe,
A timely reminder - I need to focus & set my goals - again.
If I am going on a trip, be it by car & holiday, I always plan ahead. One needs to be pointed in the right direction to ensure the destination is achieved.
"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" - so true.

You bet, Joe! I have immediate goals, but I also have a lot of LONG Term goals, as well!

Joe,
Well said. If you don't have goals to achieve in life, you won't be able to tell when you achieve them! It's like travelling without a destination in mind. How do you know when you reach there, when you don't have a destination?
Excellent reminder!

It never quits, does it? Set a goal; reach the goal; set another goal.
As long as our direction is forward, I guess that's okay. I don't get it, though...I finish researching, writing, and publishing, and there is no break -- I have to go right back and do it again. Jeez! There are no vacations in this business.
Fran, there are few breaks here. It comes down to focus and balance. That has been my struggle. I shot to the top in rank before I realized I was neglecting my family and business. When I adjusted my priorities my rank here dropped like a rock. Sorry? No, just got my priorities right. Goals? Adjusted.
