Copy and paste ads or links, after you paste on your page , what do you do to get it work? I've tried the HTML edit, didn't work. Or would I be able to see it from my page? Whe
Ok. Let me see if I am understanding your question. I think you want to know how to make a hyperlink work within the text you have written.
Let's say I want to add my Wealthy Affiliate link to my post. I type in the words Wealthy Affiliate.
I then go to my Wealthy Affiliate link and hit "copy" so that my link is copied.
I then go back to the words Wealthy Affiliate that I typed in and I highlight those words.
I then go to the link symbol in the text editor and click on it, which takes me to a box and inside that box is a field labeled "url".
I make sure my cursor is flashing inside the "url" box and I then hit "ctrl" "v" at the same time. I have a chromebook. You do what is necessary on your laptop to paste something.
I then hit save at the bottom and when you go back to the words Wealthy Affiliate that you typed, they should be in blue meaning that those words are now a clickable link.
When people read your post and they click on that hyperlink, they go to that site that the "url" you typed in pointed them to.
Test this in your content and make sure it works.
Did that answer your question? If not, I don't mind if we get on facetime and I can talk you through it by facetime. I don't mind at all.
With Respect
Jerry.
In the WP editor, enter the text you want to appear, select it and then click on the link icon (paperclip). Enter the affiliate link and then click the Enter icon to apply it. The text will then appear underlined and clicking on it will take the visitor to the vendor via the affiliate link.
It is your question, yes. Has this been resolved?
You need to paste the whole link in the Text Interface of your block editor. Short Video On Adding Amazon Links To A Post
Anytime you have a question, just click on the magnifying glass at the top of the page and enter keywords for you question. This will open lots of information and you can still ask the community for more. You may already know this, but I wanted to make sure.
