Amazing Keyword Research Tool

Doing some perusing this morning, I came across what turned out to be a very useful keyword generating tool - http://ubersuggest.org/

Unlike the WA keyword finder, UberSuggest does not attempt to give you details on number of searches, competition or click-throughs. However, by entering your basic search query and selecting a search vertical (such as Web, Shopping, Images, etc) the system then suggests a handful of search terms similar to using the Google Instant method.

Next, it automates a standard Alphabet Soup method keyword search, putting each letter of the alphabet behind your search term and generating possible keywords based on this. It also does this with the digits 0-9 which can turn up some interesting results, though I'm not sure how useful those would be.

The resulting list is then printed to the screen with each potential keyword having a little green + button next to it. Clicking on this [+] button adds the word to your cart. You can also click directly on any of the results to receive more results based on the term you clicked.

Once you have selected the terms you are interested in, you can click on the [Get] button which will then present a pop-up with a plain text listing of all the selected terms. This makes it very easy to highlight and Copy all of your terms and then Paste them directly into Excel, Word or other software of your choice in order to keep a running record of your keyword research.

At this point, you will still need to go back through Jaaxy, AdWords or the WA Keyword Finder to assess the number of searches and overall competition for each of these terms, but UberSuggest makes it very simple to collect a lot of potential keywords very quickly.
