Write good quality content that has an excellent keyword phrase within each heading

Write great, informative, factual review pages on any products you wish to highlight and link within your review.

Write 1 review to every 3 informative posts.

Make sure that your content is up to date, holds your audiences attention and is easy to read.

Write at least 3 blogs a week.

I know this because I struggled to write one a week. Now, after 14 months I am starting to make sales. I made 4 last week. If I had of trippled my output I would have reached the level I'm now at some 9 months ago.

Imagine what you could achieve if you were to write one a day.

Remember that most people are lazy readers, and will leave a site that is to cluttered and is inundated with huge paragraphs.

Create plenty of pictures, tables , large heading and bold subheadings.

I completed some site comments yesterday and, although the information was brilliant in most of them, they all had one thing in common.

Endless words.

Sentence after sentence, with no breaks, no headings and very few pictures.

The posts looked boring.

But I forced myself to read them anyway, because I wanted to give a good informed comment.

Sadly, the content on most posts were excellent. I say sadly because I can guarantee 99% of visitors would leave the site within 3 seconds

Again I say:

Make sure you utilize the principles I mentioned above to create a site that will hold the attention of your audience.

That brings me to another no no.

Don't over do the Advertising on your sites. As far as I'm concerned, my opinion is that too many ads create disaster.

I came onto one site that had so many banners, side ads, bottom ads, etc. I actually had real issues finding the post I was supposed to comment on.

The site was also bouncing all over the place because of this over use of Ads.

Another Don't:

Don't place any popups within the first few seconds of your blog.

I hate this..

and so do most other visitors

Get the attention of your audience first. If you keep them interested they will stay and are much more likely to check out your pop up.

Give them something.

Once you have attained the interest of your visitors. Give them something. Maybe a free ebook .

I would use the pop up for this. Image a pop up that clearly says in big hold headings 'FREE OFFER'

This will surprise them and give you an opportunity to start an actual needs based relationship with them.

Finally:

Make sure you have your website running efficiently.

A slow website will deter your audience from staying, no matter how good your content may be

If you stick to the above formula you really can't go wrong.

You will then start to make $500 or more a week in no time.

If you want to make a living from affiliate marketing you need to take it seriously.

Don't wait till next year.

This reminds me of a sign I saw at an old country pub years ago. This pub was in the middle of nowhere and the entrance to the road that led to it said .

"Free beer Tomorrow".

If you wait until tomorrow to take action it will never happen.

Take action today.
