Goal Setting
Just a quick comment on goal setting.
I joined WA some 14 months ago and, since that time, I have noticed two recurring issues with goal setting.
Firstly, and a strange one, is that a large percentage of people will place a lower figure in the second question when starting with WA.
For example;
How much would you be happy earning a month ?
$5000
How much would you be Ecstatic earning some each month
$500
Now it wouldn't bother me if it was just one or two now and than.
BUT
There seems to be a large percentage of people doing it.
So here's a simple explanation of what the questions mean.
1: Happy simply means Happy
2: Ecstatic means Very Happy..which is More than happy.
If you like, doing cartwheels and jumping up and down happy.
The Second issue is a question often asked about goal setting.
How can I change my goals?
The answer is simple.
Write new ones...
Either here at WA in a blog, on your profile page, in your w0rd document or on a scrap piece of paper.
Goals are not set in concrete.
You
can change them up or down at anytime.
They exist to aid you in your blogging life to help you aim for a certain level of success.
They are yours.
You own them... and ...
You can change them.
Anytime you want.
Now that I've gotten that off my chest I feel so much better.
You can now move forward and aim for success at WA.
All the best. Jim

Great post. WA is a global community so sometimes looking at the same thing with different lenses results in different results.
Yes, I would be happy with regular $1,000 monthly income, since I am have not made a dollar online, I would be ecstatic making my first $10.
LOL! I noticed that the first day I was here. Apparently, people don't realize exactly what the difference between happy and very happy. That means, what is the minimum you'd be happy making and what's the amount you'd be SUPER happy making. LOL
I just figured no one understands what ecstatic means is all. Glad it's off your chest though. It bugs me a lot when people make errors like that myself, so I get it. ^_^;
I'm very analytical so I like to be technically correct, so when I see someone else making a mistake like that I feel the urge to correct people. I will have to admit that makes me a little bit of a grammar nazi too because people using their/there/they're (and other instances) wrong all the time drive me nuts. But typos happen when writing (and autocorrect and spellcheck aren't perfect), so once in a while I'm good.
I've very logical and analytical with facts, it's great for myself when writing. Not so great when you feel the need to correct people and tick them off. ^_^
Haha - glad that's off your chest.
I think people underestimate their goals because deep down they think they may be unattainable.
I need to review mine

I thought I knew the lot on Goals having trained with TV's Paul McKenna then done my NLP with co - founder Dr. Bandler. Last year I got a scholarship to the Masterkey Masterminds training and 6 months of hard work blew me away. For those interested I can share some tips and also the training is open again next month so again anyone interested let me know and I'll put your name forward.
