Is Kangen a Pyramid scheme?
So, today i met a friend who i haven't seen for a while, thanks to Covid 19 and she had a lot to tell.
during this isolation period she was online a lot and came across this organization called Kangen water/ Energic or something like that. In her research there were many testimonies of healed diabetes and disappearing cancer cells etc etc.
In my mind í´m thinking, if this is that good, why don't they just use it in hospitals and heal the many diseases? Any way, i am not an expert in water or filters or in the medical field for that matter so ignore my thoughts lol.
I trust this forum, that's why i decided to get answers here because no one is trying to sell me Kangen here, at least i can get genuine thoughts.
My question is, is this Kangen water thing a Pyramid scheme or it really does what they claim?
Does anyone have a or long term experience with it?
I will really appreciate your feed back because the testimonies are very convincing hahaha.

Hi,
So I did a little bit of research, and looking at the science behind it, I will see no. Despite the fact that our blood pH is 7.4 (alkaline), doesn’t mean if we start pumping alkaline water our blood will be that and will start healing us from diabetes and other diseases. There are more science to it, for instance if you drink too much alkaline water long-term, is like taking overdose of Proton Pump inhibitor (PPI) for acid reflux. The side effect will be that your stomach is no longer protective with the acid and most of bad bacteria and virus enters our body through our GI as long as our skin is intact. So it means you going to have so many diseases. Beside your kidney and blood buffer system will try neutralize it to homeostasis ( balance) Another issue with it is that most of the enzymes in your stomach and other GIT ( digestion of food) that need acid state to function properly not to forget all the hormones too, will all go to sleep leading to a zombie land of the dead. Yeah, theoretically if you can’t digest food, your body might use all the sugar in short period, but the risks might outweigh the benefit.
One can be free of diabetes by exercise and healthy diet.
Final thought, you have to try kangen water to truly find out. No review can be trusted anymore because even science, media, and most religions are driven by money not morality and ethics.

Wow! Thats a very detailed analysis. Thank you so much for taking your time to check that out. I have learned quite something today.
Hi,
Just like you said, if it’s true how come the health system not using it? Yes that is true, just like the health organization for many years will not accept herbal medicine like acupuncture, yoga and the others because of there is no scientific evidence so also is such a case. Still there is no scientific prove that it doesn’t work.
Sorry to rain on all the other response, but they are just speculations.
The only way you can be sure is to experience it yourself or someone you know who went there/ use it in your presence. If something doesn’t have scientific evidence doesn’t make it a scam. I’m not saying is true, but we need to see solid evidence before drawing conclusion. For example, there was a time millions of people suffering and dying from pseudomembranous colitis ( C. Difficile) and there is stories that people going to third world countries using using these people feces pellet and getting cure, it was rejected until recently, same to acupuncture , and others.
Personally, you have tried every western Medicine with no result, then give it a try, what do get to lose? Now, the world is embracing THC (CBD) even talking of legalizing it nationally.
Please ask your friend to give you the location, and do your research preferably taking a try there or connecting someone through social media from that region to find the truth because reviews can be bought or fake.
Hope I didn’t offend anyone.
Have a good day and be open minded.

Thanks Benson for your opinion. I will consider getting well informed before i do anything. This was my first stop and i have learned a lot already.
Kangen water is considered a scam by many and the filters companies sell for this are considered pyramid schemes. I would not get involved with this stuff.
Thanks VitaliyG. I was thinking the same but i wasn`t sure about the health benefits for myself.
People always tend to look for magic ways to get healthier when in most cases the basics still work best. It's very similar to get rich quick schemes in internet business when in fact succeeding takes hard work and time which WA teaches :)

Enagic sells kengen which a water processor to get it to be alkaline.
For the FDA (USA) it is simply water, not a drug, thus it has no opinion on it.
You can't promote it as a health device. You might get into legal-medical trouble.
It is a multi-level-marketing (MLM) (network marketing) program making it quite expensive. Sometimes 2-4 times more expensive that any other direct selling marketing device.
MLM companies use hype and the distributors even hypen it more. Trying to recruit people into the system. It's quite expensive because many people will be getting commissions on the sell of each unit.
I have been in all kinds of MLM programs. Most of them have excellent products, some even unique products. The binary ones that have related two legs are the worst ones. You have to have good distributors in both legs to get paid. I have lost money in those ones because I could get an excellent distributor in one leg and lousy ones in the other. Didn't get paid because earnings in both legs didn't meet company's expectations. Never again to join them.
You have to be very careful with health claims on any product you are selling. Testimonies could be from the distributors and research could be from the same company. What do you think that they will say?
The people making money in MLM are the ones that got first in. They say that you won't have to sell, ?????. They say that any body that breaths is your potential client. Anybody? Then why does WA has so many trainings on niches and on SEO and Organic traffic. Keywords to get you not everybody that breaths, but only those who are interested in your product or service.
Apparently, it isn't a pryramid scheme, because you are receiving a product in exchange for your money. If it emphasis more on recruiting than on the product, then it could be considered a pyramid with an excessively high priced product that only distributors expecting on selling them would buy them.
I haven't had experience with this particular product or company, but based on the information available online, it is a MLM company with a high price product and probably claiming health results that are not realistic for the majority of people using the product.
I have had some good experiences with MLM companies selling almost unique products. ONly digital product or services MLM companies can really offer them at a reasonable price. Because digital products and service are very cheap to produce.
Hopefully, I have given you some light on this inquiry.
Blessings.
Luis Antonio
