Good reminder for using a landing page.
I need to set one up for my first website.
And I agree with you about - no distractions on the landing page.
Thanks for the information. I was curious how I was going to handle landing pages when I start building my website.
Thanks and Have a Great Day!

You definitely are all about lead gen. Yeah, those tactics work to pound someone into giving you their information, if only in hopes of stopping the email onslaught, but those aren't a good strategy for selling physical products. I see that approach for insurance leads, mortgage refi, payday loans. Often the quality is questionable. When I was the affiliate manager for InsureMe.com, I always preferred content publishers over email publishers. Considering I just came back from speaking at MailCon, hopefully you can consider some alternatives to that strategy.

I seen a lot of trainings by WA members.
There very knowledgeable members and there are highly opinionated members (opinions, no facts).
How do I know who is who.
I would suggest you always cross check the answers you get here by verifying them with some additional research on Google.
And when you do your research on Google set the 'Any time' filter to as recent as possible: start with 'Past month' and if there's nothing there go to 'Past year' and so on.
Keep in mind that even the Google search results list a lot of out of date material, so finding truly current information requires some due diligence.
Hi
I would cross reference material.
Yes when you do training, you acknowledge that it is to your best knowledge it is of good value.
Trainings here get approved before they are published.
You may follow up on below resource Want some clarifications on what constitutes a training? Hope this helps.
Not quite right, Abie. As I have contributed 114 training videos and tutorials I can state with certainty that the trainings are published first and are only approved for training credits if they get enough likes, views, and engagement.

Reliable indicators of good training would be the number of likes, views, and comments. But even good training can become outdated. Best to check if recent comments indicate any problems.

How do I know if a training by a wa member is reliable and not out of date or even harmful?

One of the features that WA offers is backup.
I have read about a diversity of backup plugins suggested by different WA members to be used with websites hosted here in
Personally, I don't have any backup plugins. But for some, as long as the plugin doesn't interfere with functionality, it's just a little extra for peace of mind.
Hi
I'd keep a copy locally to safeguard my work.
You can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended
.
If WA has a backup feature then having another backup system would be duplicating the backup process.
First, they can't interfere. as WA's is at the server level, whereas a backup plugin is within your website and you would typically download the backup file to your own hard disk.
There are 3 reasons you might want to have your own backup.
1. The timing is under your control. So, for example you could backup immediately after a large amount of work that you would hate to lose. That's insurance.
2. It makes you independent of your webhost. So, for example, if you stopped paying your membership and dropped out of WA, with no more access to your websites, you would still have your site(s) backed up and could restore them elsewhere.
3. Let's assume you haven't touched your site for a while but when you try to access it, you find it was hacked some time ago. In fact, all of the WA backups are after the hack, so there's no point restoring from any of them. Fortunately, you have your own old backup from before the hack.
You and tdbabineaux have given excellent reasons for using a backup plugin outside of WA.
tdbabineaux uses Updraft, are you using the same or do suggest another one?
I personally use All-in-One WP migration and have done several issue-free restores with it. Updraft appears to have a good reputation too.

I have seen a lot of trainings by WA members here.
How can I know if those trainings are reliable, useful, profitable?
Does the WA administrators check that those
All training is first reviewed by the FBI.

:)
That's an honest question for sure. Firstly, to be able to create any training, you have to have been a member for at least 3 months.
If someone did put up some training that was completely off or even harmful as you put it, you can bet they would be called out and reported by the community.
While harmful training isn't likely at all, there could of course be training that maybe has an honest mistake within it and, again, the WA community would be first to take notice.
Within the comments you can always see if the training has helped out other members.
And finally, with regards to the Expert Classes that you can find in the Classes tab, only Super Affiliates are currently allowed to create those live classes and are specifically picked by Kyle and Carson, so you can trust those are solid :)
The material in the Online Entrepreneur Certification and Affiliate Boot Camp are approved and reliable. The videos found in the training tab are also verified. Timeless principles are presented.
When it comes to posts they are provided by members at large. They are informational and you can decide for yourself what is useful. What works for one person may not work for another member.
Often you will find "A New Approach" on the internet. It is a great way to get traffic and customers. But it is a new dressing for timeless principles.
with whatever you learn you should do your due diligence...
even when on a course do you not verify what you are being taught, just to make sure and to supplement your education...
same with any training here....
the training is not checked for being out of date, that would be a massive job and they can't keep up to date with hte main course...
think of this platform as hosting with free training.....
have fun Antonios

I would want to think that members took their time to do due diligence to pieces of training before they are published. I have found most of them useful and gained a ton of knowledge from reading such training.
This is just my opinion but I would think that other experienced members would jump in and correct any misleading or downright wrong trainings.

Probably working both systems is a good method.
