If you picked the site on siterubix, it doesn't sound like you haven't purchased a domain yet? Have you?

If you haven't purchased a domain then just like Diane said you just purchase your domain that you would like to change your website name too.

If you have purchased a domain, then you will have to buy a whole new one. I've changed my website name three times, and when I changed the domain name my site had at least 60 something post on it.

The only negative side I saw, if you have to change your domain, from one domain to another is you will have to update your plugins, social sites, you'll need to update anywhere your old URL is posted, and you will lose all of your traffic.

I hope this helps!

OH my...so sorry for not answering your message sooner, I just saw your message today. I had a siterubix and wind up buying the domain name...I made it work :) Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question and I'm very sorry not to reply sooner...

Blessings

Oh, no worries! I am just glad that you were able to fix the problem. It's good to hear everything is fixed now.

Well I had a website and had about 7 posts already published on it and I thought it needed a better domain for Search Engines. I purchased a new domain and transferred the old site over to the new one. The servers will point new traffic to the old one for 30 days which works great.

Thanks so much for your answer Danny. Sorry for not answering you sooner...This WA website is a lot to learn...but I am figuring things out :)
Thanks again,

Josie

Hi - if you are using a free site you can delete it and start again. If it is a purchased domain you can't change it and would have to buy another.

Thank you for answering me Diane and sorry for not seeing your answer sooner.
I appreciate the help,

Again thank you so much,

Josie
