The Dog ruined my carpet!

So what do you do if your daughter's room smelled like an outhouse? What smells? Pee my friends. He does not do that so much now, but the smell is still there. Still drawing me attention and my nose.

What would you do if you rented an apartment from Housing and the manager says they can not change the carpet to a water-proof flooring.

Yes, the internet; there are always answers. They have solutions. I saw several advertisements, but everything was expensive and required flooring.

I am also having a part to saving my life. I have had a two month flare-up of emphysema, called exacerbated emphysema. Smells count or maybe you would say, smells do not count. But your lungs need clean air. Right?

I had an idea. I decided to turn over a rug and put on some vinyl pads that had the sticky tape on it already. Well, It worked. So far, the dog has not peed on it. It is water proof so that it will be a lot easier to clean if there is an accident. Of course, the rug is in the dining room and not the pee infested in my daughter's room.

So how to rid the smell in the carpet? I have emphysema and I just know that "acid" smell that makes me keep everyone out of my house should also keep me out of the house too.

When I clean, I get on the floor and brush out the hair. But I can not do much. You know you have to breath in order to work at any job.

One moment, my daughter did use various household cleaners to get "it" out of the carpet, but all it did really was to leave a stain. On top of that, the pee smell was still there.

My solution to this whole problem was to get rid of smells and then clean the two large rugs and ridding them of hair. I would then put the solution of the white vinegar Everywhere. Then I would proceed, after drying, to tape a water-proof utility bag--the same one that is used outdoors over boats and such--on the back of my rugs with two sided tape.

That would mean the whole room would be purified.

Now all this would have worked too except for one thing! It did not completely get rid of the pee and now I had an overlapping smell of vinegar. But I thought I was heading in the right direction, until a friend came over to talk to me about home care. I asked her if she smell urine.

She nodded yes (for sure). Now I am at the point of getting rid of the dog along with my daughter.

The friend told me she would help with the management to make sure they start completely over to take the carpet out and redo the underlying floor. Hey, you know what I think? I see evidence of termites too.

These apartments are okay, really. All that has to be done is to rid the carpet, redo the flooring, put brand new carpet in, fix my window in my bedroom so that it will open to give fresh air on certain days in Colorado that have good quality air days.

And my daughter? She is disabled too, but I believe that if I make enough money on my website, she can get her own housing. Perhaps the dog will now stop his behavior.

I am ready to live alone. She takes the dog out a lot more now. I guess she does not like the smell of vinegar.
