New Website
Check out my new website promoting Wealthy Affiliate! It is still a work in progress that I whipped up the other night after work (2nd shift) while I was burning the midnight oil. This is part of my training in the WA Bootcamp, a very good program. Check it out if you have not started it, or go premium if you have to.

Let me know what I can add, any feedback, what you would do, anything you think I can do. I am open to any suggestions, as the only way I have been able to point traffic to my campaigns is using Google Ads.
Thanks again everyone here at WA for any feedback or support
Regards
James

Thanks, I finally cropped it to fit, let me know when yours is complete,I'd like to see it!
Great look but he banner filled my screen so I had to think about scrolling. A video and your experience would be good build up trust.
It's very invigorating isn't it. It's amazing what a website to present. I would add more of what each membership has to offer. Check out the check list in this write up: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/the-premium-membership-in-a-league-of-its-own
I know it's a work in progress and that's good. I agree that the banner is too big.
Second, you need to remove the leave a reply to a separate contact us page.
Third, you need to add a contact us page.
Fourth, add a about us page
Fifth, add a privacy policy page
Sixth, tell a little more of what WA has to offer your visitors. Hopefully, they want to become online marketers. Inform them about what the Premium membership has to offer.
Seventh, add a link somewhere in the text to take them to WA sign-up page. The image does not say that. You are assuming that the visitor knows this. You could add a sentence like: "Check out the Wealthy Affiliate free starter membership now!"
I hope this helps.
Thanks George, you are right, I need to do this for my other web pages also. I am going to copy and paste your list into my notes so I complete these tasks without forgetting about it. I have as I get closer to 60 I forget some things.
It's well made , I think google like content to be 400 worlds, and you need a privacy policy page, and a about me page, google loves that stuff.
I like it, short.sweet and to the point Good job ;O) but I am new,so hope some the the more experience people check it out and help
Hi James
As you say, it is a work in progress so it is quite difficult to comment without sounding negative as you don't have a lot to comment on.
1. I think the theme with that enormous banner is a mistake - a waste of valuable space.
2. Who is your customer - and what problem are you solving for them.? You have plunged in to say what Wealthy Affiliate offers but that doesn't tell potential customers what it could do for them.
Keep at it.
Best wishes
Beverley
Yes, the banner is pretty big. I noticed it right of way. I have to figure out how to resize it!

Don't spend too much time on the header. If you are working through the bootcamp, you will notice that I haven't spent a second on the header simply because a header will not convert, in many cases it will detract from your conversions because you are wasting usable space that content could be.
I think you are off to a good start James, but as I mentioned, at this point I would refrain from using too large of headers.
Thanks Kyle, yes I kind of left it alone and am working on the content, adding new pages and tweeking everything. The Theme I choose always adds a "Home" link in the header to allow posts, I was trying to figure out if it was really necessary but can't get rid of it. It seems like duplication since comments can be left on each page. Although I think the posts can be left as anonymous which I have documented in my Privacy Policy?
You can exclude your Home Page (the one you have set as your homepage) by clicking the Exclude page from menu within the page editor. Your theme has a default home page that will always be there so when you have created your additional homepage, it has created a duplicate.
