I miss my pediatric patients.
I've been on leave for several months now due to my condition. I love the fact that I am close with my family, got the chance to play with my dogs, eat my favorite foods and of course having all the time to recuperate my physiologic glitch. For many years I have been deprived with the simple things in life. Medical school and residency literally took away the sense of time in my circadian rhythm. But if there is one thing I miss in the hospital then that would be my patients. Specially my patients at the pediatric ward. Every morning, I go on duty 30 minutes early so that I have the time to cuddle the babies at the NICU. =)) I am not yet a parent but now I understand to be one. Especially the feeling it gets to see a baby smiling at you despite a whole day work. This small things in life keeps me motivated to go back to the hospital. Maybe a residency in Pediatrics soon. But not now, I still have a chapter to savor of which Wealthy Affiliate is a big part =))

Jiran,
I like your enthusiasm and positive outlook on life.
You also have set clear goals for yourself, and I am sure you will reach them in good time.
Be strong, be patient and believe in yourself.
Kind regards
