Slowing Down, To Keep Moving Forward
For about the past 2 weeks I've been writing about 2 posts a day. This was taking about 4 hours a day just to write the posts and then I was spending another 2 hours a day on WA talking in the chat, giving people Site Feeback, giving people Site Comments, and reading blogs on WA.
This has been wearing me down. And now I'm just burnt out. I think I need to slow down so I don't quit. I think 5 posts a week would be sufficient. That way I can relax and not feel like I'm doing too much but also still be making progress on my site.
I'm a 15-year-old in High School so between playing School Golf and AP courses plus normal classes I literally would not have time to keep going at the rate I am now that school is starting. Plus I also just need time to hang out with friends.
But I want to keep going and posting because I know that by this time next year I will be so glad I did. If I don't keep on working on my site and take a break by this time next year I will be kicking myself for doing that.
That is what motivates me to keep going even when I'm burned out and done. Looking to the future, think about how it will benefit me.
While it may be hard work now it will pay for college, and so much more than that.
Mahatma Gandhi said, "The future depends on what we do in the present".
The only way to change and shape what is ahead of you is by working in the present to make it happen.
Thank you for reading.

You are doing great Judah with all you are doing just make a plan to allocate what time you have and remember your content is more important than chatting be it here or elsewhere.
Just pace yourself and you will be fine.
Wishing you well in all you do.
Keep up the great work.

Writing two posts a day is fantastic if you're working full-time on your website. However, for someone still going to school and meant to be experiencing the thrill of their youth, it's to much. I'd knock it back to no more than 5 a week. Also, I don't believe it's necessary to spend two hours a day on the WA chat line. Maybe drop it to 30 minutes three times a week. Just remember to prioritise the important things in life, and enjoying your youth is important . All the best. Jim
You are doing very well. But you're smart to make sure you don't overdo it. There's lots of time to get all of the stuff done. I think school should be the main thing you do. School is the main thing for you.
