Sacked By the Flu
My Dear Friends,
I've been taken down by the flu bug the last 48 hours or so, so I want to apologize for not answering all of your comments and PMs in that time period.
Yes, I have been Sacked by the Flu!
As you know, it's normally not my habit not to answer comments; I try to get to every one.
It's currently flu season in NYC, and I've got all the classic symptoms, you name it: a high fever, body aches, massive chills, heavy congestion, bad headache, etc..
I was actually feeling the bug when we attended the "Bruce Lee Stop the Bullying" event on Thursday evening, but it was an importnat cause and I had promised the organizers that I would attend.
Hope you all had a very productive week, and will enjoy a wonderful weekend coming up.
I really hope to see you soon out there in WA Blog Land!

In addition to Rest and liquids, Vitamin C, zinc and oregano oil have helped me.......feel better soon!
Oregano oil? Now that's new to me, although I eat lots of olive oils Debbie.

Your health is of the greatest importance. Take the time to recover fully and get back out there when you're ready.
Thanks a lot Hal, its a slow trudge but getting plenty of needed sleep and fluids, and will listen to your excellent advice and take my time:)
Awhh -- that's a lil' rough! .....
.... Special Dr.'s Prescription for you -- rest in bed, take plenty of fluids (clear broth/soups to chase the chills away),
.... and lots of citrus (vitamin c) to help boost your immune system and to flush .... fresh squeezed lemon juice works wonders!
.... get into your jammies and just R E S T ! ... sleep is a great healer ...
Best to be patient with yourself and concentrate on nurturing you back to perfect health! ...... 🧡

Awww, Thanks K, I've listened to your sage advice and have ben sleeping all day! Plenty of citrus juices in-between though:))!
Sorry you’re down with the bug.
Once you get old like me doctors will recommend the flu shot...I haven’t had the flu for years!!

Thanks Kyle Ann, I don't like the flu shot either and try to stay away from it. I think it gives me the flu!
LOL! Silly Kaju! The flu shot doesn’t contain any live virus, so you can’t get the flu from it! Next year put on your big boy pants and get the shot! 😜
