Record setter! my new video views went off the charts !
What a personal record-setting day it has been. Completely unexpected!
My new video “PPC in Short Supply (Are You Serious?) Ep 10” received an unprecedented number of views today in such a short period of time.
Even though the video already had a great start on Day 1, yesterday (Day 2) within a short 3 hour period views more than DOUBLED by rocketing from 171 to 383 organic views!
It outperformed my 2nd personal all-time most viewed video in the first 48 hours by more than DOUBLE!
When you see this YT Analytic chart, you may have to do a double-take – I know I did!
This is what the spike looked like graphically. The "shaded" area is the normal range of views after the first 48 hours from past videos.
My related video “Wear Your Mask (Day 59)” that I also re-shared, had an even more incredible spike – going from 237 views to 485 views in a 4 hour window, with watch time for both videos increased by 4x!
As you can see, its a straight extremely long horizontal line, and then BAM!...the graph jumps up from 237 to 485 in a blink!
Together my 2 related videos combined for 538 organic views in 48 hours that same amount of time (4 hours), this means that 538 different viewers watched in this short period (all from cold traffic), which is a 5x increase over normal for me.
Using a New Technique
Although the result was unexpected, it was due to a new experimental technique that I applied – I was hopeful it would have a positive impact on views, but I just had NO IDEA it was going to work THIS WELL!
This I can tell you, my technique won’t work unless:
- - You have made a good to great engaging video
- - You provide value to the viewer
- - The topic needs to be helpful and informative
- - You have a strong hook in the beginning
- - The video is on a current topic that is resonating
- - Opinions on this topic are divided if not controversial
One final note: the better the video you make, and the more important the topic of the video is perceived, the more haters you will encounter. This is inevitable, we have to get used to it.
Although there were many who extended beautiful compliments, there were haters that slung verbal flames at me. I would say it was about 80% Likers and 20% haters. Which I simply responded my counter viewpoint to them very directly but respectfully.
This was a great day, and I believe I have uncovered a repeatable process. It’s going to get real interesting as I re-apply my new technique as I upload new videos in the weeks ahead.

When we work hard, and we finally make progress, its a great feeling.

Good job Kaju. You mentioned the haters on YT. To that I would say this, I've noticed that in a weird way, the haters can be beneficial. What I've seen is that the haters generate engagement from the community. They spew their drivel for whatever reason, and the real supporters jump in with positive replies and defend the content and the creator.
Through experimentation, you've hit on a good method. Now it's time to expand and grow. Continued success my friend.
