Earl Strickland’s Amazing Shot
Wow! I just had to post this for you to show you this man’s amazing display of skill, culminated by one of the most Amazing Shots you will ever see!
Here’s the highly entertaining new You Tube video I created of a real match I recently played vs. Hall of Famer Earl “The Pearl” Strickland which I just uploaded yesterday.
Check it out HERE on my KPC You Tube channel by clicking the link below. This is part of my new series “Pool-Oke”, which people are really loving!

Earl is a Loose Cannon
Earl “the Pearl” Strickland is originally from North Carolina and is considered one of the world’s greatest pool players.
He is also a “loose cannon”!
Strickland is EQUALLY known for his crazy antics, talking BS to his opponents during the match. Arguing with referees and announcers, even with the crowd during tournaments.
There is no way Earl will EVER win the Sportsmanship Award – however, both promoters and tournament directors LOVE him because he is highly volatile and always is very entertaining, which adds a specter of unpredictability to ANY event that is intriguing.
But no one can deny his incredible skill at the table.
Perhaps Earl's greatest achievement is he once ran an unprecedented 11 consecutive 9 Ball racks (that’s 99 Balls!) without ever missing to beat his opponent 11-0 to win 1 Million Dollars!
That’s why Earl “the Pearl” Strickland is considered by many as the all-time greatest 9 Ball players in the history of pool.
There was a stipulation that anyone who could break and run 10 racks would win a million dollars. But because of a racking "glitch," Strickland needed to run 11 racks. Jimmy "Pretty Boy Floyd" Mataya, a high-level pro witness who was present at the event, said Strickland's last shot, a tough nine-ball combination in which Earl showed no fear and "fired it in with authority" to win the prize.
Unfortunately for me, on this day we played he was particularly ON in rare form. To make matters worse, I didn’t make any ball on the break, from then on I was literally “doomed”!
However, I LOVE this video! It’s so FUN to watch!
Even though he clearly ran over me, it was both a great honor and a THRILL to play him!
Cheers,
Kaju

Hey Kaju, I watched the video in your channel.
About the last shot, did Earl Strickland plan on shooting like that or it was luck? He is another iconic pro player and it's an honor to play against him. :)
Hugh
Hey Hugh,
Earl planned it - he CALLED that shot!! That's what made the shot so Amazing...watch carefully, and he POINTS to the side pocket before he shoots it. (and my comment bubble tells you so)
It was indeed an honor to get THAT VIDEO.
Thanks Hugh, Keep Watching...!!
My next videos in that genre will be a match I had vs. Jeanette, and one vs, Mike Massey

“My Trip to Bora Bora” no doubt is my most elaborate work to date. The title should be self-explanatory.
Take a trip with me and Cherokee to paradise, our ultimate South Pacific vacation. Meet Puffer the Blowfish, Pepsi the Dog, and our other Special Friends we met along the way on our once-in-a-lifetime trip to French Polynesia. Now captured on video.

Check out the sequence of 26 still images from our trip synchronized perfectly with the background music track. This was extremely challenging but I pulled it off.
This original work is dedicated to Cherokee, who starred in this video – she is my ex-partner who passed away in 2016. I will forever hold you in my heart, Cherokee, and I know you have ascended to a better place.
Grateful that we once shared a life together. One day we will meet again.
Thank You,
Kaju
Note: There are no actors here in this video. They are all Real people and living things.
A bittersweet tribute to a loved one who will always be remembered. And loved. Through time immemorial.
