Can You See Who Is Sharing Your WA Posts?
I just noticed someone shared my WA post "Landing Page vs. Home Page: What Is Better?
They have done so as indicated by the number “1” using their affiliate link (see screenshot below).
Since they shared my post, that means if someone out there in cyberspace reads my post, and signs up with Wealthy Affiliate through their affiliate link, the person who shared my post will automatically receive credit for that referral.
Anytime someone shares our posts by grabbing their affiliate link, we should take this as as a high compliment and an great honor that the people who are reading our posts and sharing them have considered our content to be highly useful, relevant, and helpful.
I know I certainly do.
However I was wondering, when someone shares your WA post is there a way to find out who the person was that shared it?
Without the person writing a comment directly to the author and availing themselves?
Cheers,
Kaju

Hello friend, I have no idea if there is anyway to find out who it was. I know I have someone as well who has done the same and I have no idea who it was. xxx
I will do my friend and I may even choose to share one of your posts on my FB page if you don't mind friend. xxxx
Hi Kaju!!
It's a great thing!
I didn't know about that.
The interaction at WA is endless.
Thanks for this example.
Ingrid
Endless and ever-growing Ingrid. Happy you learned something new here...this is a confusing point for many!
Have a Wonderful Day:)

That's a good inquiry, Hanley.
Let's say I visited your WA post and really loved your article and wanted to share it. I believe I can help people by sharing YOUR article, and also possibly bring them to join WA.
Then by ME sharing YOUR article, if someone joins WA - since when I share your article MY affiliate link is attached to it - if the person who I send your article to joins WA, I would receive the referral credit.
This can be a bit confusing, but I believe I have this right.
Kaju
No. wrong. well I believe anyway
My article is my link even if shared on your site.
This was covered recently in a post but by whom I am unsure.
So the writer is the winner, not the user.

Sorry, Hanley, but Kaju is right. Kyle teaches that in the training. If we share someone's post using our affiliate link, the sharer gets the referral.
Grant
Thanks Grant, yes I know but there's no shame if anyone is still confused about this.
I was very confused about this at first too. Many peeps still are and its very understandable.
That's why when I saw that red "1" I had to write a short post about this to clear some of this confusion up.
All the Best,
Kaju
However I currently don't know of a way how you can see who shared your article (and possibly received the credit of a referral), do you?
I actually knew this and used it but got it arse around. A good example is when you link to say a training module at WA.
Ow well, at least a bit of excitement.

If you don't yet, I will happily return the favor when yours is up.:)
A mystery to be solved...Thanks for showing us that little number. I didn't even know about that.
Thank you Kaju!! That is good info to know.
But, you make a valid point about that little number. I would be honored if someone else here were to use one of my blogs on their website.
I’ll hva to keep a watch for that in the future.
I dish you the best!
Bob
Wishing you the Best also Bob. This confused me for a long time,. but read my comment to Hanley. This is how it works.
