Everyone has a fear
Everyone has a fear. Even beautiful, talented, smart, and lucky people. We are scared to start something new, to go out of our comfort zone, to take a risk, to do something that we never done before.
We fear for our families, for our jobs, for our life, and for many other things as well. Fear will always exist.
No matter how much experience, confidence, recognition, money or talent you have, you'll be scared to a greater or lesser degree each time when you conquer a new height or do something new.
But this is fine. This means you're still alive. You have to keep going on!
Go through and past your fear, and don't try to get rid of it!

Great thoughts. Your post reminds me of the Litany Against Fear in the book Dune, which reads:
"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
Thanks for sharing as well what you have read before! We should not let fear to be greater than our goal.
Yes it means that it's a different kind of level of fear Derek. Best thing to do is to consult with experts how to deal with it.

Hi, Jessa...
Yes indeed, you are so right...You can use that fear as a personal challenge to face and overcome each, and as you do, you will gain more confidence, more skills, and be able to accomplish even greater things...
It is like a snowball rolling down the hill, as time goes on and you travel on your journey, you will become f=more of a force, you can affect more people, and you can have more success...
Love it just thinking about this!
Cheers!

Yes it true Dave Fear = Challenge and if you make the formula Challenge + YOU Conquering =SUCCESS!
