Writing Like We Talk.That Seems to Be What I do.Right or Wrong?

How are you today? It is Tuesday, February 28, 2023. I hope you as the reader are thriving, wherever you may be.

Writing is becoming a lifestyle. I'm ok with that. I'm ever so slowly going into retirement. I'm perfectly fine with writing on a daily basis.

I actually enjoy it. I end up writing in one sentence lines like this one expressing one thought at a time.

I also do that because I was advised a long time ago to write content putting plenty of white space in the content. You as a reader can tell me if that is the best way to go or not.

It hopefully makes the content easier to read and follow.

I do end up writing like I talk. When we talk to people, we make pauses. We don't just start talking and not stop for a breath.

Sometimes it would be nice to get feedback as we write, but that's not really practical.

We have to try to put thoughts together so that hopefully they flow well and then let our readers tell us if it makes sense or not.

So, as we write, we want to write, I would think, as if we are writing a note to a friend about how this thing we promote will benefit them. It might be what they are looking for.

We are writing because we know we won't see them, call them, or text them and we want them to have the information.

For me, at least it makes it a little easier to write thinking this way.

I am also taking advantage of using drafts more and more. Sit down, put a few thoughts on the screen, maybe research a little more and edit as I am adding to the content.

It takes some of the stress out of writing posts not having to come up with 1000 words in one sitting.

There is no reason to get frustrated with a post. Keep adding and editing until we have good content that flows well and makes sense.
